Good Points: Highly recommended.
Bad Points: Haven't found any yet, possibly the unconventional cheek rest.
General comments: I own a stealth 2000 in 22 and so far my experiences have been all positive, I have not tested the power but it seems to be around where it should be, accuracy is extremely good , half inch at 20 metres, i have not had previous experience of pcp guns , my last gun being a prosport and various spring guns prior. The stealth in my opinion beats them all hands down, it is so light and easy to carry, with the silencer fitted, the loudest noise is the pellet at the target and the accuracy has been excellent, love it and will never change to anything currently on the market.

When I was sighting it in, I thought it was firing wild. First shot was on the paper, the rest were flying who knows where. Turns out, they were all passing through the same hole (or close enough where I couldnt see from 10 yards). I'd thought I had lost my ability to shoot... turns out it was just quality of product. When I'm shooting standing unsupported with 3x scope, I can still get 1 inch-ish groups at 40 yards. Would miss paper occasionally with my Gammo.Light and other than the b ...- Read Guest's review (218 words)

I own both the 12 inch and the 18 inch barrel version of the Talon. Both versions will give you pinpoint accuracy out to 30 or so yards and good hunting accuracy to 50 yards and beyond. Others have gotten very good results out to 100 yards with a 24 or 26 inch barrel.
If you are planning to get one, start out with the SS, as the frame is longer and will better accomodate a longer barrel, if you choose to get one. Keep in mind that the shroud feature will be useless if you get the longer barre ...- Read rob3dr's review (309 words)

I've been using my Talon SS Air Rifle for about a year now, and I'm still quite in love with it. As far as PCP rifles go, this is a great way to get into the PCP scene. It's an easy rifle to work with and get a feel for the complexities of air/shot consistency. It's great for a tuner's rifle. Hammer, valve and trigger modifications are a snap to do, disassembly is intuitive and the sparse amount of parts makes for a very strong system. There are only two o-ring seals on the entire rifle so ...- Read Darkfront's review (369 words)

I have had my gun for a few weeks now and find it to be a very hard hitting and accurate gun up to now I have had no problems and spent four hours customising the plastic parts on my gun including the silencer with camouflage...I have done this to many of my other guns and the looks are transformed all you need are acrylic paints and a good brush.- Read Hot Shot S200's review (84 words)

After the Benjamin as 392T, AA 410E, now the Talon SS. My first impression of the Talon after a week is that it is light weight, compact but very powerful. My only gripe with this rifle is the sound. Marketed as an SS is a deception. Make no mistake this rifle is LOUD. With that aside I Mounted an 8x 50mm range finding scope and voila the rifle just zoned in the target at 10yards dime size target jagged hole.
Out of the box it's a nice piece, but the sound and accuracy is what I bought it fo ...- Read av2011's review (455 words and 3 comments)

I've had my Talon SS for about 2 years now and it is excellent. I have a BSA scope and can shoot Bulleye consistantly at 50 yards! Excellent hunting rifle because of the range, accuracy and power. Also excellent for rodent hunting because you can dial down the power to that of an in house bb gun...well almost! Even at it's lowest setting it's still a top contender.- Read Dragonrich's review (103 words)

The Airforce(US) OR GunPower(UK) Talon(US) OR Stealth2000(UK) is a very light and simple PCP rifle, need a muzzle weight for good shooting, It's a very safe rifle you can allways see if there is a pellet in the breech, easy get the spring pressure from the breech, the best hunting air rifle, easy to tune.- Read oneshot's review (82 words)

I have had a Stealth 2000 Air Rifle for over three years. found Ye Abridge Armoury very friendly and accommodating (ask for Peter), but the basic rifle really does need some tuning if you want it to shoot consistently. Prone to inaccuracy once the air charge is depleted, but hard to tell when exactly that will happen. You find that you are shooting 1/4 inch groups at about 35 yards, and then, seemingly for no reason, you couldn't hit a barn door at 10 yards. Try the .177 version, which seems ma ...- Read fairhaven1's review (157 words)

WOW, i bought my gun power steath from the portsmouth gun center (UK) last week end £350 including sound supreser (silencer) and air refill addapter and i really can not fault it. i have fired about 500 pellets and found that i can hit a 5p coin from 30 meters almost every time and i only have a £35 tasco 4x32 sight on it.
if you are thinking of buying one it is obvious how i feel you should run down the shop as fast as you can and snap the hand off any one that has one for sale yo ...- Read ian's review (123 words and 1 comment)

bought an early stealth brand new in 1998. bottle was leaking sent it back to factory took 2 weeks to fix it. at 2700psi power was only 10ft/lb with a choice of pellets. tinkered on managed 2 get 24 ft/lb with barracudas.still not accurate,in desperation took 22" barrel from an old weirauch hw35e got it machined at a cost of £85 to fit stealth.power now 23 ft/lb with only 1600psi making a ten litre bottle last about 40 fills. with 2700psi power is 50ft/lb .still plenty more power available ...- Read fiddley hoojar's review (172 words and 9 comments)

I love this rifle!
I can play with it all day long.
Once you get to know how to set it up properly you get 100 consistent shots at 26fpe with .22 KodiaksBarracudas.
I made a nice alu trigger blade for mine and removed the safety altogether.
I also moved back the fore-end grip for better balance. Added a 12" UNF adapter and silencer.
The bipod is great and I added a wegu adjustable butt-pad.
The trigger is quite creepy and I am trying to figure out how to add a sear engagement and an over t ...- Read Guido's review (128 words)

Talon SS with 12" Walther barrel in .22 caliber. Barrel on this model is shrouded, thus noise level is significantly subdued. Also comes in 18" unshrouded Walther barrel.
Owner since mid-December 2002 with approx. 600 pellets fired as of this review. Chrono'd Crossman Premiers @ 803fps +- 4fps, Beeman Kodiaks @ 724fps +- 4fps in strings of 10 shots each. I typically shoot about 50 pellets before recharge.
Accuracy: shooting CPs at rest, all holes touching at 30 meters, approx 3/4-inch ...- Read TXTalon's review (284 words and 1 comment)

This is a very good hunting rifle with masses of power to be had. I find it easy to carry for long stints in the field. It's point and aim are very fast making it easy to take aim on any vermin that cross your path. The walther barrel makes it as accurate as any gun I have used, I have no problem putting pellet on pellet at 30 yards. The only thing I will say is that the looks are not for everybody, I myself like traditional looking guns with nice wood stocks but the stealth does look smart and ...- Read seangler's review (151 words)

This is a fun gun or adult toy. It his hard and is very potent with pests up to racoons. This gun likes heavy pellets. I believe the accuracy combined with the adjustable power settings make this an irresistable fungun !- Read Mochamanz's review (205 words)

I recently purchased the 12" barrelled Air Force Talon SS air rifle having built-in suppression, also purchased an Axsor HP hand pump to fill it. Darn near gave me a heart attack by the time I got to 2900 PSI with it, probably a scuba tank's a better bet to recharge it. Rifle is compact, light and has a straightforward, simple design throughout. Valving mechanism is contained on the tank. I would prefer that they offer this in a version better suited to scope use, since it has an AR-15 style fra ...- Read Roger's review (393 words and 1 comment)

I had an Stealth2000 air rifle as my first gun and bought it as a non FAC gun. Out of the box it was 18ft/lb so I sent it back. They said they'd fixed it but then it was 22ft/lb and was inconsistant and also leaked and accuracy was poor for a PCP. It was sent back numerous amounts of time and again wasn't sorted out.
I have tried various different Stealths and none of them actually shoot straight- Read James Freeman's review (93 words and 3 comments)

What I have is one of the very first Gunpower Stealth rifles and the lastest Talon SS rifle. To be honest, I bought the rifle solely on looks alone..I like a hint of black military look in modern airguns. And also the price is worth noting. Both are similar and there are definitely has been some upgrade from the earliest to latest. Believe it or not, I tend to like the Older Stealth because of the ultra simplier design configuration that doesn't distract from your shooting. Both of the models ...- Read AndrewLeung's review (492 words)

The Stealth 2000 air rifle is perfect for the stealthy and has variable power adjustment on the tank. It has maximum power that needs a firarms certificate in the UK. The silencer is a must buy! (wonder why they've called it stealth in the UK). So quiet that you can hear the sting sound of the trigger when firing. Two stage-trigger works as you expect it. Single bolt action but very easy to load. One of the rails is higher than the barrel so you can still mount a fibre optic sight while the scop ...- Read Ali's review (138 words and 2 comments)
