    Questia is a good service in theory, but a rip-off in practice. They are repeatedly cited for unfair billing practices (unauthorized billing, difficulty canceling, etc.) and despite that have a "no refund" policy that allows them to squeeze out of giving any money back.

    I joined Questia not knowing that my University had a similar site "free" of charge. I subscribed for one year and was charged for two years because I did not contact them to cancel. They were very hard to deal with in getting any refund and it looks like I will not be getting a refund for the services that I will not be using. As far as the site goes it is not user friendly and very confusing. After the first month of trying to use the site and trying to save the material that I retrieved ...

    As for the person who was billed for over a year and not knowing it, I really wish I had that kind of money to never check my statements then blame the company for something I signed up for. I mean you don't ask for a refund on your mortgage for the month you don't live in your house. Personal responsibility has to come in somewhere.

    It seems Questia.com offers no invoices in the form of email or mail. I was charged for my account for over a year and never realized that I was being charged. Now I know I cant seem to be offered a refund, even though they have proof that I have not used the service for 12 months in my opinion. The website itself is very nice, but I do not recommend this education site...

    Questia www.questia.com is a really good website and I hope that it continues to grow. However, I hope that other online libraries are created to compete with Questia for "one stop and shop" access. This website provides a wealth of information, all conveniently located in one place. I pursued my college degree through Excelsior College which allowed me to take college course through several different colleges. I received A's in all of my courses that required research, cited work, and refer ...
