All of the sources I needed in our place, plus tools to build a bibliography and modules that showed me how to use everything properly in my research paper. Got an A. Questia's business model seems to be centred around tricking customers into signing up. Don't even bother with the free trial - sometimes it is advertised as a seven-day trial but it actually expires in one day, and you will almost certainly end up paying something. Customer service representatives are incredibly rude. Don't throw your money away - there are so many good, free alternatives. (Google Books; Gutenberg...) (read more)

tried the free trial, didnt like it, too confusing and never found anything i was looking for, and they make it nigh impossible to cancel membership. by the time i finally got it canceled i'm not 100% sure they canceled it, gonna have to keep an eye on my statements.....shady shady business (read more)

without questia I would have struggled.A great range of online resources ,that is definatly worth paying for.I have used questia now for around 2 years and without questia would have struggled in obtaining enough sources for my essay
on a wider note Iam somewhat surprised at the some of the comments on customer satisfaction.I have found their service to be good and have had no trouble with them whatsoever

I found this review very helpful because it sounded honest and sincere. There are a lot of fake reviews out there for a lot of products. Listen with discernment for this when you read reviews.

I signed up for their free trial service. Since I was taking a summer class in World History I needed to find some good sources. I must have used it only a couple of times. By the end of the month I remembered I needed to cancel the service. When I checked they had already billed me again. The first time was fine, since I didn't cancel during the trial period, but the second time was not. I cancelled the service and requested a refund. As others have already complained, they REFUSED!!!

I signed up for this service and never used it. It was extremely difficult to cancel, they had lousy customer service--and they still ended up charging me for the next year. Definitely not recommended. (read more)

Questia is a good service in theory, but a rip-off in practice. They are repeatedly cited for unfair billing practices (unauthorized billing, difficulty canceling, etc.) and despite that have a "no refund" policy that allows them to squeeze out of giving any money back. (read more)

I joined Questia not knowing that my University had a similar site "free" of charge. I subscribed for one year and was charged for two years because I did not contact them to cancel. They were very hard to deal with in getting any refund and it looks like I will not be getting a refund for the services that I will not be using. As for the person who was billed for over a year and not knowing it, I really wish I had that kind of money to never check my statements then blame the company for something I signed up for. I mean you don't ask for a refund on your mortgage for the month you don't live in your house. Personal responsibility has to come in somewhere. (read more)

It seems Questia.com offers no invoices in the form of email or mail. I was charged for my account for over a year and never realized that I was being charged. Now I know I cant seem to be offered a refund, even though they have proof that I have not used the service for 12 months in my opinion.
