“Bought and took delivery of the product. Switched it...”

★★☆☆☆

written by A Cooper on 10/11/2009

Bought and took delivery of the product. Switched it onto full power to get rid of the 'new' product smell and was quite disappointed to discover a very loud click every twenty minutes. I presume this was a system override to prevent the product overheating, however, I imagined being woken up by that loud click, mid-sleep on a cold winters night!. Not very convenient. I sent it back. The operating instruction does not document this particular aspect of the product thus leaving the buyer concerned as to whether it's a fault or just the way the heater operates. They should make you aware of this. It may allow the buyer to have confidence in the product. For a £94.95(John Lewis) spend, you would at least expect a silent performance!

Disappointed Punter.

I have bought one today but couldn't remember what the assistant at shop said whether it 17 cents or 70 cents and hour to run this heater. Could you tell me what the running cost an hour using this heater? Thanks
