Just a terrible device. I bought a pair of them and one of them developed a faulty microphone and the other won't hold charge, despite replacing the batteries with top of the range rechargeables. Presumably the base station is faulty.

Unfortunately I didn't buy them locally so I was stuck with them & just made do as they were expensive but I've had enough. They're going in to bin.

A bit less time worrying about packaging (silly felt bags for each phone) and more spent on the function and it might have been a decent device.

Will not buy another Philips phone.

Simple, the Philips ID937 phone is poor, it's not cheap either. It freezes, resets itself and has an annoying beep when replaced on reciever which can wake your partner if bumped this is on both handsets, i'm sure one will be beside the bed. This function cannot be turned off. Facia is bright during night. Can't find the function to record your own message. HD function offers no sound differnce, gimic. Philip's customer service will tell you to take it back to your retailer so keep a hold of you ...

This Philips ID937 phone would be more useful as a door wedge.Special features"SEARCHING FOREVER".I have wasted TIME & MONEY on this product,i will be wasting more TIME & MONEY when i return it to argos.1 Day after i had purchased it.I will go for PANASONIC instead.Ps the only reason why i gave it one star was to complete all fields.

Upon answering the Philips ID937 phone it actually cuts the incoming caller off. Very poor ring tone volume, eg difficult to hear if in another room.

Expected more for my money, top of the range price but actually no better than the cheaper products available, apart from the big address book which i required.

The Philips ID937 is a nice stylish looking product, but functionality I found to be lacking. Sound volume and clarity is poor, even with HD sound switched on - in fact you can't tell the difference between when it is on and when it isn't.

The Philips ID937 is buggy. It doesn't answer sometimes even when I press the talk button or cradle it. It rings but when you press talk, it doesn't do anything.

I think these Philips ID937 phones are hopeless! I have had Philips phones for years and they have been fine (the Karla Vox was the best of all) but these ones are useless. The ring tones are poor and even when they are turned up to full volume they are still hard to hear. You can't alter the number of rings to more than the settings therefore i am forever missing answering calls before they go onto the answer machine. As for the volume control, it is terrible, you can hardly hear the person ...

Not happy with my Philips ID937. I would have expected a phone which was on a special page in the Argos catalogue devoted to high quality sound to be better than my old Panasonic. There is no difference if HD sound is on or off. Not chuffed.
