Lack of clear instruction booklet caused problems from unpacking, You only have a series of not very clear drawings to guide you. Filter didn't sit properly in the lid, rolled up at sides, also needs replacing every 15 uses. Only 1 filter supplied and no information as to where to obtain more. Not clear how to operate the oil filter system. One of the instruction pictures showed pouring oil from a saucepan into the fryer, so assume you have to dispense the oil from the cartridge into a... POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS ITEM!
I read some other reviews on this saying that some people have experienced leaks but bought it anyway. Having just gone into the kitchen, I found all of the oil from the fryer on the floor! The drain knob was still in the correct 'fry' position and the collection box underneath is enpty but the oil had leaked, not into the collection box but through the drain mechanism in the centre of the collection box and onto the worktop and then onto the floor.
