I had to cancel my holiday to Sri lanka for my 50th birthday as I was diagnosed with breast cancer in February. I didn't cancel immediately because I didn't know what my treatment would be and I also was told by Air France that they would be happy to give me a credit note or reschedule the flights for a later date - I quite liked this idea because it would be something to look forward to at the end of the treatment. In the end I needed chemotherapy which meant I would't be able to travel. I decided to cancel because the travel agent (e-bookers) would not agree to the credit note/reschedule (shameful company - never again). Anyway, to cut a long story short, there was a delay between diagnosis and claim of 2 months. There were lots of questions on the claim form requiring explanations about delays in claiming and having read some of the pretty bad reviews about Staysure I was convinced that they would use this or some other bit of small print to refuse our claim. However, they paid in full, with no question at all. It was a little slow, it took a month but then we are in France so maybe it took a bit longer to get/translate medical info. All in all a pretty good outcome and they are competitively priced (I didn't have any preexisting conditions), so I will be using them again.

I found it very helpful and easy to get a competive travel cover. Never tried to make a claim and hope i don't need to. Having said thati have a. Very good feeling about the company. Have several very competive covers with them.

Your medical questions made me laugh, although I appreciate they must be asked, I and your member of staff laughed at some of my answers, mostly when it came to questions about the wife, and her mental health, although she is well, sometimes I wonder if women are from another planet.

My first contact with the sales team was very positive but unfortunately I was cut off close to the end of my quote. I think this was due to problems with the my service provider and not Staysure.. When i eventually got back in touch (the sales department seemed very buy) i had to go through the whole application for the quote again. The receptionist was very apologetic but she explained, in detail, and very clearly all the information i needed to know. She was very friendly and it was a pleasure dealing with her. I would whole heartedly recommend Staysure to anyone.

Made a devis and got immediate email response, basically saying "use us" !! I did, phone answered and all very efficiently dealt with. On receiving validation certificate discovered most of my address missing, so have been trying to contact them - only by phone, my emails being mailer-daemon returned - and four days later am still trying to get through to them, whether by holding on for ages or by leaving my number for them to call me - as THEY suggest. Wonder therefore how efficient they actually are if there is a REAL problem on the validation certificate... Hopefully I shan't need them but I do wonder...though with their rates would probably certainly use them again if needed and see how it all goes then...

Having searched online for travel insurance I found some other companies policy's unclear and the websites not easy to navigate. This was not the case with staysure. The website is easy to use and the quote I received was very reasonable. I decided to proceed with the insurance and rang the customer service team as I wanted to speak to a person to get the best level of cover for me. The team member talked me through the difference's in policy cover,was very pleasant and made sure I fully understood what I was buying. I can't fault the team member at all and would happily recommended stay sure to friends.

Very surprised that Tennis Elbow which requires no current treatment incurs a 10% uplift on premium while high blood pressure (one medication) incurs no penalty. Queried it but still stands. Online quotation doesnt allow you to go back to initial page so you cant check all details (names, age etc) before pressing pay button. Sneaky credit card 2% surcharge only flagged at last screen but you can go back and change to debit.

After getting quotes from various Insurers Staysure was the cheapest and easiest to deal with. Explaining pre-existing conditions and medical terms were understood by the adviser which made it a quick and easy procedure.

Contacted Staysure on Easter Sunday re travel cover for above. Spoke to vry helpfull gentleman who was very helpfull re the most difficult part-as always, pre existing medical conditions. He steered me through, no problem. Well done.

I was very pleased with the insurance for our 2 holidays this year and thought the price was good. The staff were friendly if some what down to earth. It might not be wise to tell your clients that the computer was a pain in the b.. and never worked properly. I spent £141 on 2 policies for my husband but when I enquired about the £10 Marks and Spencer voucher as I had spent over £100, I was told I could only have it on one policy which was under 100. I was cross about this and feel it was unfair especially as I did it at the same time. It left a nasty feeling after having good custom. This is the 3rd time I have used you but I am not sure I will again!Perhaps SAGA might be better.

I have used Staysure Travel in the past for my holiday insurance, no fuss or bother very easy to get cover. Due to the very good quote I have decided to stay with Staysure Travel for my holiday this year, why fix something when it is not broken! Well done Staysure, as always great quality of staff, who help you all the way , giving clear and understandable advice, far better than any automated service. Will be using again.....Why would'nt I.

I looked at several sites and Staysure were not the cheapest except their Annual anywhere quote was very good. Rather than single trip we have taken out a multi-trip cover as we will be travelling to Scotland & Ireland later in the year. The process was very good, and our contact on the phone was excellent. Of course, we haven't made a claim - yet so can't comment on their claim-processing procedure. If the worse happens, I hope they will be as efficient at handling any claim that might arise. Just one thing: getting comparative quotes for over-75s with some slight medical conditions is VERY time-consuming - like many days on-line. Next year, I might try a comparisons site.

The quotation process was fairly long but well thought out. It is a pity that the UK insurance market has shrunk to the point that there is the need to involve insurers regulated by non UK Regulators, to keep premiums at the lowest level. Just one technical point that could be better,one of the payment screens asks for the "name on the card",which I amended as I have a middle initial, the next screen then showed the original, unamended name.

I have used Staysure for years for travel insurance for my parents, however, due to age and health conditions, you have to be very careful when seeking quotes to ensure all conditions are disclosed and included in the proposal. The process is thorough and the agent who I spoke to was very efficient, patient and took the time to call me back and I have purchased another policy. Thankyou for your professionalism.
