“Excellent support - Staysure travel insurance”

Earlier this year, my elderly father had a fall while visiting me in Cyprus. I took him to A & E at a private hospital, and Staysure assured me he could stay for the initial 24 hours while tests were completed. When it became clear he needed to be hospitalised for longer, this was extended for another 24 hours when he would be transferred to the general hospital. “V Professional call operator a pleasure to do business...”

Just organised travel insurance, it was very organised and professional felt everything was covered. We could not have done this on our own the person I dealt with was exceptional, with patience, understanding and great knowledge (went the extra mile). We don't know if price was reasonable or not, but because of the service, we paid with no intention of looking elsewhere. I had to cancel my holiday to Sri lanka for my 50th birthday as I was diagnosed with breast cancer in February. I didn't cancel immediately because I didn't know what my treatment would be and I also was told by Air France that they would be happy to give me a credit note or reschedule the flights for a later date - I quite liked this idea because it would be something to look forward to at the end of the treatment. Tried on-line and not really a problem but wanted to make sure I had not left anything out that might make the policy void. I could not have been more impressed and he was so patient. “Top Class”

My Mum had an accident whilst visiting me in Dubai after only being in the country 2 hours. She had to undergo surgery and the insurance team were amazing and helped every step of the way. They cleared all the medical bills directly and sent a nurse to accompany my parents back to the UK when she was fit to travel. The nurse was superb which put my 73 year old Mum at ease and she looked after them so well on the flight. I would recommend Staysure to anyone as they made what was a nightmare… Read Full Review

“Poor telephone qoute”

I chose to get a quote from stay sure as they advertise they cover per existing medical conditions after spending 30 mins on the phone answering dozens of questions I was told they would not cover pre existing medial conditions something they could have told me in the first few mins and the cover they could offer was overpriced and poor in comparison to other insurers the call centre agent was not helpful and talked over me and when asked to clarify a statement he just repeated the same… Read Full Review

“Terrible service from Staysure Emergency Assistance”

When I had an accident on holiday, Staysure Assistance were unhelpful, evasive, and repeatedly failed to return my calls. Despite what they advertise, they do not provide 24-hour emergency assistance. Someone in a far-off call centre will answer your call but you’ll wait hours “until the office opens” for your emergency situation to be assessed. “Can't get names of passengers correct..”

“reactive claims Operation Delay”

You have a policy with Staysure Travel this is true only until you make a claim. The you are in the hands of a different breed of cat ! Reactive Claims. There approach is that your claim is fraudulent until you prove otherwise !!! The have no class and use every trick to delay or void your claim. “misled re medical exemptions”

Took out annual travel insurance in January. Told them I was awaiting the results of a scan. They said I could still take policy out and when I got the results I could let them know. When I telephoned and told tem results they wanted to increase the premium by almost 100%, I declined as none of my pre existing conditions were serious. “Traumatic and uncaring”

Never insure with staysure.service quality of care abysmal.i am 75 years 8f age my husband 83 quite fit declared all medical conditions prior to booking.2 siezures my husband suffered.had to be hospitalised for 5 days.staysure said it had to be public not private hospital.22 kms away by taxi.hospital wonderful.taxis helpful and kind.
