Postern of Fate reads like it is a series of aids to memory which Agatha Christie jotted down before working it into a novel - it is as though someone else found the notes and published them. The book is 'bitty', goes nowhere and a lot of the conversations between the main characters (Tommy and Tuppence) seem to go round in circles.
