    AVOID AT ALL COSTS - When I first ordered goods from this company the money was immediately taken from my credit card, however, it turned out that the product was out of stock (not shown on web site), so the money sat in their bank earning interest while I waited weeks for delivery. After goods were eventually delivered a fault appeared in one of the products. They initially tried to fob me off by suggesting it was manufacturers fault. When I pointed out that under current consumer law it is the supplier's responsibility they refused to answer any correspondence from me, but still send me spam advertising on a regular basis. An appalling business with a "take the money and run" attitude.

    Whenever I purchase a present I use thecookskitchen.com. They have an extensive range of products and I can always find something on there to suit the occasion. The stuff on there is good value and they will always wrap it up and send it out in good fashion. When compared to other internet shops there is always a friendly voice on the end of a phoneline and their customer services team do have excellent product knowledge.

    The Cooks Kitchen is a very frustrating company. I ordered four glass bowls weeks ago and they still have not arrived. When I rang yet again today, I was told three of the bowls would be arriving tomorrow and the other one next week. I am not holding my breath. I really wish I had seen this website before I ordered them.

    Dreadful customer service. I ordered three sets of spice jars from The Cooks Kitchen, all were sent with faulty lids, I was told to return them and postage would be refunded. I am now told that I damaged the lids, only half my money has been refunded. I am left over £30 out of pocket and also have no jars.

    Unhelpful customer service. Their website does not seem to allow payment by credit card over a certain amount so I was forced to ring and place an order personally. Only at the end of the conversation did they admit that they had no stock of the item I required. I explained it was for a birthday present and was told I would receive it well in time as it was due in by the end of September. With three working days to go to the end of September and no sign of a delivery at all, I find my credit car ...

    I LOVE this shop (I am a bit of a foodie though) - it has everything you need for your kitchen. Saves trudging round the streets looking for what you want. If they don't have it is is not worth having!!!

    I have ordered several times from the cooks kitchen. the first 2 orders went very smoothly however the carriers lost my parcel on my last order. I called Katherine and within 2 hours she came back to me to explain she had tracked down my parcel - it got delivered the next day!

    I was left feeling so angry at the complete lack of customer service that I felt thecookskitchen.com provide.My order was extremely late and was damaged upon arrival with large pieces of glass piercing the box. My order was glass products and no protective packing was used, they were just in a cardboard box!I emailed my complaint, which was ignored for over 3 weeks, upon further emails I eventually received rude emails in reply, with a very "stuff you" attitude about them.To date only a partial ...

    Not a good on line experience compared to the majority of other sites I have used. Total lack of progress or information regarding delay is a sign of very poor customer service - I cannot recommend The Cooks Kitchen.com.

    If you want something delivered within a specific time, as I did for my sons 5th birthday party, I recommend to NOT use The Cooks Kitchen as they let me down. They need to revise their customer service practices and look up the meaning of '24 hour delivery' as they didnt do this for me.

    When I had a problem and a complaint, I feel it was not dealt with in any satisfactory way.

    Do not recommend The Cooks Kitchen. You can't turn back the clocks on a special occasion, a birthday party for example, so don't risk disappointment by using The Cooks Kitchen.

    I ordered tins but I didnt realise they were not in stock for the date I wanted them, I have not yet recieved communication on the cancelled order as I requested and as far as I am aware no refund as yet.


    I have been very unhappy with the service I recieved from The Cooks Kitchen and do not recommend www.thecookskitchen.com.

    I find the attitude of this company appalling and quite unlike any other I have ever encountered.
    To claim an item was available when in fact they had none in stock. Following this admission, promised delivery dates came and went, each having to be chased up, Eventually admitted (after more chasing) none would be available until the New Year (item originally ordered in October 2007) and promised immediate refund.
    (At that point I ordered the item from Amazon and it arrived 2 days later).
