Funnily enough, i borrowed And You Thought You Were Safe from a mate, to have somethnig to read while I was on the train. What started as what I'd thought would be a browse evolved into a fascinating and funny read.. You'd never imagine that someone can make bacteria and other microscopic killers and almost give them a personality.. I learned a great deal while not realizing it, because I was busy enjoying the read.. Good book overall, and easy to understand.. (read more)

"And You Thought You Were Safe" is a thoroughly enjoyable read... I was transported through time with comical historical anecdotes on man's behaviour, and how this caused disease to become cosmopolitan. An enlightening chronology of disease, and how we are living in "an unseen epidemic." I never thought disease could be so fascinating, yet humorous.. (read more)
