This is my second waltons shed, and they are, well ok I suppose. My 7x7ft was fine, but the 12x8ft is s bit flimsy. the wrong floor was brought, and it took 5wks to deliver a second one. The felt was delivered in sections so small that I had to buy some of my own or accept a patchwork of felt. staff were ok, and I always managed to get through. another local chap also bought a 12x8, and received the gable panels for a 8x6ft. so things obviously go wrong far to often. personally,Id build my own next time.

I recieved a Walton Workshop shed on 2nd may 2009 which was severly defected, all the sides were extremely warped. after several phone calls and e-mails i sent pictures. after seeing the pictures i eventually got confirmation that they would upgrade the shed to something of better quality, this was on the 18th june 2009...over a month after delivery. I further contacted consumer direct for advice because i was getting nowhere with e-mails and phone calls. on the 29th july i sent them a fax on th ...

Bought a shed from Waltons. The doors were the wrong size, the hinges were broken and all the panels were damaged. They refused to put it in the garden and left it on the road. Having built the majority of the shed and notcing all the damaged panels etc,I phoned them only to be told to take the shed down and they would arrange for someone to come and get it. I explained that as a single parent, I had asked soemone to come and build it for me, so I could not take it down myself.

    I was quite wi ...

Waltons as a company are appauling - no customer service, don't answer phone or emails and no after sales service. I bought their 8' x 6' potting shed and when the lorry turned up the driver said he was only allowed to leave it in the road!! Can you imagine a huge great flatpack in the road! I phoned the dispatch depot, as they had previously ok'd taking it round and putting in garden, and they told driver to do just that. Driver so furious that he scraped the panels along the pavement on ...

ordered a Waltons 16' x 10' (4.88x3.05m) Walton Workshop Shed and given promised delivery, so employed two men to receive and erect at the given time from Walton. No shed arrived and after about £20 wasted on musical phone calls I was told it was out of stock !!! No apologies - just commissorations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I experienced very poor customer service when dealing with Waltons. My delivery/installation time/dates were not kept to. They didn't seem to return calls to me when they said they would. I felt as if I would have been better off trying B&Q or a local company as it may have been a lot less stressful.

I bought my Waltons shed in December and decided to pay the extra to have it erected due to the bad weather. I was at work when they built it and came home to find it was overhanging the boundary and the pad bolt was not fitted. I phoned customer service and was initially told the problem would be rectified. After a week I had heard nothing and ended speaking with a person higher up - the rudest person I have ever spoken to from a department where the only reference to service is in the name. Th ...

We paid £1000 for a Waltons workshop shed and expected a high quality building in return.
First glance at the floor and roof panels showed that they were not cut straight at the ends leaving gaps in the floor. The roof has so little support that it bows in the middle. There are numerous knot holes in the side panels which will have to be sealed to avoid water incursion. The doors do not fit. The roof clout nails are so short they will not hold the felt in place.

    Overall the build quality ...

I recently purchased two garden sheds from Waltons. Only one arrived despite saying 2 were despatched. After a call to them, they then phoned me and I was told they would send another one. I waited in all day for the second one, it didn't arrive. Yet another phone call, no one knew why I didn't get it.
Said they would raise another order - but omitted to tell me that the despatch office were not told it was the remainder of another order and I would have to wait two weeks to get it. By then frus ...

Waltons has been a very poor company and I will not deal with them ever again. My advice, steer well clear. I have advised all my friends not to deal with this company. I tried to ring and speak with their MD but he would not speak to me. Customer Services -when you can get through often waiting over 30 minutes- treat me poorly and it seems as if they don't even care. They messed me about with deliveries, didn't turn up when they said and have left items on my front lawn with my personal details ...

Ordered my Waltons shed online and delivered within agreed leadtime. Was a little worried after I purchased and read reviews. The shed cames after a call from Waltons to book it in with me. Took this morning off work. Went together ok and felted and watertight within about 1 day. Great.

The build of my Walton Workshop Shed is very poor. I also had to add wood to the timer beam to support the roof. The double doors do not fit together. The panels have nails are either half way or straight through and showing. Wood is also warped. I am also waiting weeks now for a response from them. They are are company that I will avoid!

We needed a cheap but secure place to store garden equipment. Got more than we expected with this, it was easy to order on Walton Website, delivery was quick and the delivery man didn't mind waiting while I checked it.
Simple to put up, me and my girlfriend did it in an afternoon but we did find a part missing for one of the windows. We emailed waltons that night and they sent it out for the weekend.
Overall very happy with it, much sturdier than we were expecting and easy to secure.

The overall quality is poor, I had to ad extra beams for strength, I had to go to B&Q to get wood to replace the warped pieces. Then I had to go again to get felt tacks as the ones given are not long enough to go through into the wood.

Poor customer service of Waltons, they did not reply to my messages or e-mails. Delivery team never answer phone - I don't think that they actually exist. Ordered a shed 7 weeks ago, money taken straight away but only told me last week was out of stock (6 weeks after initial order) after hours of chasing on my part. I told them a week ago I want my money back immediately but they have still not replied. I spend alot of time in telephone queues only to sometimes even be cut off straight away whe ...

Since the initial Waltons purchase confirmation there has been scant information on the progression of my order

Customer service and delivery teams are impossible to contact. I have spent over TWO HOURS (each call I waited over half an hour) waiting in call queues attempting to contact and failing - at a cost to myself.

I sent two e.mails prior to this - neither of which have been replied to.

I was promised a call the day before to inform me whether I would receive an AM or PM installation ...

On 22nd May ordered an 8x10 wooden shed through the Waltons website and got an email confirmation of the order with an estimated delivery date of 5 working days. They took the money from my credit card straight away, but I thought that would be OK as I would be getting my shed soon. After 6 working days I tried to call to see what was going on, spent 10 min on hold so tried email but no response beyond an automated reply saying my message would be dealt with as soon as possible. Tried to call ag ...

In my particularly case, I spoke to an agent at Waltons when I originally order my summerhouse and was given reassurances that the item was in stock and would be delivered within the stipulated 5 working days (21 May 2008). On Thursday 29 May 2008 I sent an e-mail and have not received a response, I have since forwarded this e-mail again (Wednesday 4 June 2008) and I am still awaiting a response.

I have tried ringing on many occasions but given up after 20 - 25 minutes as unable to get throug ...

I ordered a Waltons shed+portabase from shedstore. The shed turned up (though it looks pretty flimsy) but the base was nowhere to be seen. They have now given me 3 separate delivery dates in all and failed to deliver the base on each occasion. This has meant wasted days waiting in and wasted time when I should have been building the shed (I've had to cancel arrangements twice now.) Customer services are poor - I've probably spent about 6 hours in queues and on the phone to them now and I still ...

My Waltons case is basically just going to emphasise on what everybody else has said about this poor company. We placed our order on Thursday 15th May and money was debited from our account the next day. We then had a call the following thursday informing us that our shed would be delivered on Monday 26th, it wasn't until after I got off the phone that I realised that it was a Bank Holiday and instantly tried to call them back but spent at least 30 minutes on the phone with no answer. But as we ...
