“Owner/Chef, Rude-Ignorant. BURNT PIZZA!!”

Written on: 25/02/2012

I had been a regular until my last visit. I had noticed the standards drop in my past three visits. This time after sending back my pizza twice because it was BURNT was getting beyond a joke. Nevertheless my wife finished her Pizza which was average. I was willing to give the place another chance until I got the bill and asked for my Wife's unfinished soft drink to be taken off as a good will gesture as I wanted to leave ASAP and get something to eat. When confronted by the Rude an arrogant... (read more)

It's taken me ages to read your review. Maybe instead of treating yourself to a pizza, you should treat yourself to a dictionary and punctuation workbook.

“Italian restaurant with no Italian food.”

Written on: 07/08/2011 by Sons77

I do not intend to be mean but, being an Italian restaurant,I was surpirsed by the lack of Italian ingredients, one of those bein Parma ham. Also I was served an espresso which looked and tasted more like a black filter coffee. Beside that, the waitress were nice and helpful and I really liked the atmosphere. (read more)

We eat in Canos on a regular basis and have always found the service, food and atmosphere to be of a high standard. It is very reasonably priced and offers a friendly, inviting atmosphere.
If my family had their way we'd eat there even more often!!

I read the other reviews on this site. I eat in Cano's at least two or three times a month and have been doing so for many years. I have never had a bad meal.I have never had reason to complain. I can go with my girlfriend and child and we can have a starter, pizza, dessert and soft drinks each and it would not come to more than £30. I have tried Pizza in many towns and nobody can make it quite as nice as Cano's. The atmosphere is good in the restaurant and it is very child friendly. The... (read more)

At Cano's Pizzeria, Pizzas are generally good, sometimes a bit burned. Deserts are nice, and a few nice pasta dishes. (read more)

Cano's Pizzeria, Dungannon, Tyrone is a good spot. tasty food, good wines, the perfect start to a night out! i've ate there a lot and have had no problems other than once i got the wrong order but the staff were very good and sorted it out with miniumum fuss. i'm happy to pay a small bit more for somewhere nice - though don't put prices up too high!! Excellent food - Cano's Pizzeria might be a little more expensive than the chipper or pizza hut but its not your run of the mill pizza joint. Still feels like a nice night out. Packed at the weekends so you might need to book. (read more)

There seemed as though there was no atmosphere on my visit, I felt like I was bothering the girl who took my order. When I got home and opened the pizza it looked like a five year old had made it! It was burnt black! I was furious and would never recommend this restaurant. (read more)

The fresh dough used to make the pizzas is a delight to eat. And with the fresh toppings and bubbling mozzarlla the whole meal is a delight! The Canos Starters are lovely and set you up for meal! The whole night was topped off by a wide range of beautiful sweets and a friendly service all night! (read more)

Overall, we had good fun but this wasn't down to the service, food quality or price. It's very overpriced for what we go - really pizzas and garlic bread with not much to drink came to somewhere in the region of 27 pounds per head. Not a cheap night out.
They seem to be trying to save money but not realising that they would have a much better restaurant if they made a little less per person, upped the level of service and had a good feeling about the place. One toilet is also penny pinching... (read more)
