I've been using CWCS web hosting for about 10 years now on both Windows and Linux servers. I host a lot of small websites on Shared Servers for a fixed annual fee which makes the charges good value for money. I've also started using CWCS Linux Cloud Servers recently which seem to be very fast and trouble free and particularly good for Wordpress sites. The person I spoke to when I had a problem with my e-mails made sure that they got all the details asked me the necessary questions and made sure I was kept informed through out the operation. I have been with this company for a long time and I like the way they facilitate for my needs and nothing seems to be much trouble. This is my 3rd server host in 6 years and by far the best service. We have a simple setup but we were always plagued by things beyond our control and previous helpdesks turned out not to really offer the 24/7 support they promised. When I want something sorting, they sort it quickly. For example: I recently moved servers and then kept getting hourly emails about the old server failing to update it's control pane! This is a quick update to a review not long after moving our companies ecommerce infrastructure to CWCS. After 6 Months of being with these guys and girls all I can say is fantastic. Support fast and spot on. Communication is superb, hardware is solid and the network is twofold. I am so relieved to have discovered CWCS. In the past few years, I have written several small websites for friends and small businesses and always used the same hosting company because they were cheap; but the service was appalling and it was almost impossible to get help or even a decent invoice. I've just taken on a cloud server package with CWCS running Plesk 11. It's a CLOUD-2440 solution (4x vCPU, 6GB RAM) running Ubuntu 12. I also have their 'Gold' support package. I have filed 10 support tickets with them already (for things like migrating websites from previous versions of Plesk, help with updating Ubuntu and configuring software installed such as the firewall) and each time I have received a prompt reply which has solved the ticket first time round. I've been with CWCS for approximately 3 years now, since our agency has gone online. We have just migrated to the basic Windows Cloud Server package provided by CWCS. The performance provided by the package is great and the support really is "Supreme", it must be the best in the industry! When comparing specifications like amount of disk space against compeititors CWCS may seem to be a bit expensive, but phone them up you can get discounts for paying in advance and committing to a minimum contract length. We have two dedicated servers with CWCS. I have always found their support great and because of our excellent experience with the first server we moved a second server too them. Although the cost of the 2nd server with another company was cheaper we had reliability and support problem. I have been a customer of CWCS since 2007. They host 2 web sites for me. The sites have not been down except for very short time intervals which I have been dvised of in advance, to fix servers. I have contacted support probably about 10 times - forgotten passwords, or I needed advice on file uploading - and have always received help which solved my problem within 24 hours. I have always found the guys at CWCS to be on the ball. The value in a service provider such as CWCS is in how they respond to issues. They are first class in this respect. You speak with a human being that can also understand your accent. Strangely this is important when calling from Glasgow, Scotland. I am a developer, and so my dealings with CWCS are on behalf of my clients. So I haven't paid CWCS a penny - but I get the service that any paying customer would be very happy with. The response times for support requests are usually very fast indeed. Most issues are dealt with in just a few minutes, or even less! We have only recently cut over our services from a US based hosting company providing us service through a 3rd party useless intermediary (aka reseller). The process was professionally handled by CWCS, their staff are actually on call 24/7 as stated and frankly speaking its refreshing to be able to speak with someone who has the proper level of technical know how to assist. We have beena customer of CWCS for over ten years. At the start they were very good, support was helpful and we were happy with the service. Over the past three years this has deteriated greatly. They are hard to reach by phone, any dept billing or support. Support calls are not answered and when you are a reseller this matters as your client is chasing you. I would say if you want hosting to resell then go elsewhere, we are moving ours as this service is now so bad. (read more)

Many thanks for posting this review of your experience of CWCS, it is a shame that you have remained anonymous as I would have liked the opportunity to address your dissatisfaction against the services we offer here at CWCS personally. However in response I would like to stipulate that we as a company look to deliver excellent customer service and allow the customer to really appreciate the fantastic personal experience at all times. I find it hard to accept that we are hard to reach by phone, we have a 24/7/365 manned operation based here in the UK and whilst I appreciate that there can be times when the call volumes can be high, we monitor this on a daily basis. We have introduced new methods of contacting our support team which now include free calls via Skype and you only have to read the other reviews which are not anonymous and hopefully give a true reflection of our services. I think that the knowledge there is someone around 24/7 gives the security and confidence we needed and CWCS have certainly proved they are there whenever we need them. We've had email responses within 10 minutes and problems solved within that time at 3am! This review is not correct.
We take all comments of this nature extremely seriously and have investigated any VPN issues. Our VPN is stable and we have had no recent issues with it.
More importantly we have had no support requests or comments from any of our VPN customers suggesting there are, or have been problems in the past few weeks.
Yes, like any other hosting company, we do have issues from time to time, but customer's VPN going down every few days isn’t one of them! And when problems do arise, we get them sorted out quickly and efficiently and, in addition actively put measures in place to prevent anything similar happening again.
Please take a look at the other reviews about CWCS technical support and see what they say!
Regarding your comment about our technical support, at CWCS we pride ourselves on the high levels of skills, experience and expertise of our technical support staff. We have qualified technicians on site 24/7/365, and if you contact CWCS with a support issue you will get through direct to a technical support engineer. We do not use call centres or non-technical support staff.
We own, manage and run our own data centres, so can usually fix any problems extremely quickly, even if this means physically replacing hardware or components. What’s more, you’ll find our support staff often go above and beyond just fixing the problem. We do everything we can to ensure our customers get some of the best service and support in our industry.
I don't understand why 'guest' has made something up about VPN, or contacted us directly if they are having a problem. We don't actually have many customers using that particular service so it would be easy to identify any issues - but there aren't!
However if ‘guest’ would like to get in touch we will look in to the matter immediately and be more than happy to discuss any issues you may have or have had. Please quote your support ticket number, or we will raise a new support ticket on your behalf.
Alternatively if you would like your account manager to call you for an informal chat, go through any issues and look at ways we can help you and put things right, please get in touch.
When the issues are real, if you contact CWCS you will find we make every effort to correct things – whether it is answering a technical query, answering questions or getting third-line system admin support to delve really deep.
What’s more we will always take on board genuine feedback!
