    Good Points: Ease of use
    Picture Quality
    Size

    Bad Points: Battery performance

General comments: The Sony CyberShot DSC-P5 is an excellent all round digital camera, with pretty impressive picture quality at just over 3.2MP. I have taken pictures in a multitude of locations with this little gem, with great results, visit: www.nooneels.com for proof!

The one major drawback is that the battery is absolutely woeful, and you spend half of your time recharging it. A spare is a must!

I have recently changed over to the Canon Ixus 750 as a replacement for all my photo needs, and hope that it will live up to it's predecessor.

Since purchasing this camera I have no problems with it at all, in fact I take it just about every place I go due to its fantastic size. The quality of the prints it produces are spot on, and with a second memory card you can have around twenty minutes camcorder footage with good sound & picture ( great fun ).There are also many functions on the camera to mess about with if you want.
I have been very impressed by this camera and would highly recomend it, or the DSC-P9 which unfotunatelly had'nt ...

I hate mine but it's too late to change it.
Try going on a sailing holiday where you don't have mains power to charge the pathetic 650mAH battery that costs a fortune. Sony didn't even think that a 12v charger would be useful. The memory is expensive too. It won't take power from the PSs USB port either. If the PC goes off while you've got the Sony connected the lens will try and force itself open. Most actions shots are poor because it takes too long to actually take the picture, so you norma ...

The camera is incredibly easy to use! I have only needed to refer to the owners manual once. This is a good thing since the manual is very thin and lacks detailed information.
Adding to the ease of use is the DSC-P5's diminutive size. This makes it very convenient to take the camera almost everywhere. I went snow skiing this Spring and the DSC-P5 slipped into my sleeve pocket designed for sunglasses with no problem. Plus, the auto retracting lens meant no fighting with a lens cap with gloved h ...

The Sony DSC-P5 digital camera is an all-rounder: excellent point-and-shoot camera, but still with some extra's and possible adjustments.
Excellent image quality, both in sharpness and colour.
