Absolute rubbish. Site kept going down. No support, no response to phone calls or emails. They also took a payment for a domain renewal twice. They have owned a number of limited companies which have all been disolved. They were actually a reseller of a company in the States called Enom. When my site went down in September 09 (not for the first time)I was able to ping their servers. Enom told me I shouldn't be able to do that. Our website was down since 10 December 2009, whereas the cpanel et ftp address were still accessible thanks God. Then we could back up our CMS and migrate the website to a new server with a real 24/7 service. Seems that they do not reply to any e-mail, fax, phone anymore. Either the service is terrible or they are not in business anymore. For a similar problem in February 2009 same lethargy, until the service came back all by itself! Tried to buy a hosting package from them but suffered a problem with the online sign up. I mailed them 3 times over a month, no reply to any of the emails. The phone number is answered by a fax, it's impossible to speak to anyone. I sent them a final mail asking - are you still in business ? Because I'm trying to buy something! No reply, so I went elsewhere. Truly awful company, steer clear. I'd give no stars, but one star looks like the minimum....

I am involved in content supply for a website hosted by Adept Hosting. My client is constantly complaining about the level of apathy at Adept. I know his access to his website disappears almost every other week because I get call to say 'my work is not needed' 2 or 3 times a month. He tells me he has support tickets unanswered from last year. How on earth can a company call itself a hosting company if it has no redundancy measures in place, nor any consistent support, nor any system of notifying...

When their systems are up and running everything was fine. Technical support tended to be accurate when a response was received. That's the good. But there's way more \"bad\" to note. Their servers were not terribly reliable and tended to go down for extended periods of time without warning and with no mention on their support website. Worse, getting through to their technical support team was almost impossible. I have sent four messages so far about my domain name transfer and have not received...

We've been a customer of adept for a couple of years and once we were up and running had little reason to contact them. We have experience occasional short server outages but until now everything was up and running before we had time to get worried. But not today .... we have had no access to our domain, either website or control panel, or email since early this morning. This is the worst web hosting company I have personally ever had to deal with so far. I have emailed, called and faxed this company and to date have not yet had a response it seems. Worse still the Adept Hosting Company, as far as I am concerned, has ex-directory telephone number therefore no contact can be made at all. I would not reccommend adepthosting.co.uk to anyone. I will be calling round to their offices to concel my web hosting as I have not yet had a response of them after numerous calls....

Unhelpful customer service in my experience. Over a seven month period I have emailed and phoned on numerous occasions and I feel I have not yet received any valuable help and when eventually answered promised call backs which as far as I am concerned have not yet happened. Looking to change providers to one who will host my forum for free and actually speak to me. Therefore I do not recommend Adept Hosting.co.uk...

Unhelpful customer service in my experience. No-one seems to be able to answer my questions, very slow by email I find. (For example - I asked them to change the nameservers for one domain via their support contact form, instead of doing this they emailed me three hours later and asked me to raise a support ticket, working day finished and now 16 hours later I have (eventually after finally finding their ticket system) raised another ticket which says exactly the same as the email. Overall I am pleased with the service that adepthosting provide me a little slow at customer service... but seems I rarely have a problem with there server then its not a big concern of mine, however this may put a lot of people off. Me I will be staying with them and continue hosting my websites with them. Well recommend Adept Hosting....
