“Best dedicated servers and support ever!”

I have no less than 25 dedicated servers (DS3000) with Freezone! So I can say I certainly know about their service which I have been using for over 2 years now. I just don't get the bad review for a dedicated server product they got from the customer below? Because all I can say is that the level of service and support I have received is second to none. “Freezone DELETED all our data-websites!!! Do not trust!!!”

For months we have had a dedicated server. Paid in full until next year. Plagued with the server crashing and DDOS attacks, the latest of which brought their entire network to a halt for hours with no way of contacting them we complained. Nothing happened so I prepared to move all our servers to a competitor. Unfortunately I didn't do it quite quickly enough. As a long time customer of Freezone I have always been extremely happy with the service. I recently had some issues with a few of my sites and contacted Freezone's Live Chat service. Oliver Finn was polite, efficient and friendly from the first and able to not only resolve my issue but also took proactive action to prevent it occuring again. been with freezone since beginning been awfull last few weeks but now problems seem to have been resolved but oliver finn brilliant help on the live chat. STILL VERY ANNOYED THOUGH THAT DURING THERE CRASH I LOST THE EMAIL ADDRESS I HAVE HAD FOR OVER 15 YEARS!!!! they have said they set it up on my new email as an alias (dubious how well / long that will work) and hate new fz number email address prefix - Surely there must havew been some way of keeping my old address?????????????… Read Full Review

Email is down at least once a week. Always promised it will be up with an hour, never is usually down for the whole day. I think they make more money from keep you on hold waiting to complain than from new customers. Impossible to run a business with this service. No offer of compensation even when requested. Been with freezone since 2000. No problems till last month. Had 4 weeks of hell with them. Emails down for over 3 week-not good when running a business.Lost so much money. Constantly told will be resolved in hours. I only have an email account with Freezone, but I have been unable to access my mail or address book for almost 2 weeks. I have rung support several times and have been told it will be sorted out. Today, no-one is available to take my call. It seems they are in big trouble, despite the website showing technical issues that have supposedly been resolved. Freezone / Domain Express have lied through their teeth to me since Thursday last week. I have been waiting for emails to become live again for nearly a week, and when i'm running an internet business this is a big problem. I am going to move from Freezone but in the process my website will be down for 24 hours. They have caused me loses of £1000's and i'm losing more customers to their poor poor service. “Complete trash web hosts”

My three websites are constantly down. Last night they went down again for the THIRD time in two weeks. This means no emails from customers, no access to any controls. Their website says they have 24/7 Live chat support, what a load of rubbish, they do not have this, blatant lies. You are so right, I have been with them 15+ years and in the last few it has been downhill only, particularly in the last 6 month, sadly. I am thinking of moving my 5 Domains shortly. Any suggestions where to?

I'm looking ar vidahost. will need to read independent reviews first, however, at first glance it looks promising. A web developer I am working with, has mentioned that their support is good. I also noticed that with vidahost you can migrate your existing sites over, so that seems very helpful.

Just thought I'd update you: I have actually gone with Vidahost.com, I raised a ticket with them, and two hours later, it was responded to, looks promising. I asked freezone for a full or partial refund, but they said no to that (I only renewed earlier this month!). They said that their terms and conditions state that because I was on shared servers, I was not entitled to a partial refund. I told the woman on the phone that they have already broken their own terms and conditions by mis-informing their customers that they have 24/7 support, which they never did have as far as I know. But the woman on the phone said "thank you for your comments" and ended the call soon after that. Freezone is still giving me grief, as I'm trying to transfer my domains across to vidahost. They are not making it easy, and they never have, good riddance.

freezone have been good but their servers have crashed and i still without my emails which is no good when i am trying to run a B&B business!! how do i get my bookings etc and they appear to have gone home now for the Bank Holiday. Sadly Freezone's performance has become intolerable now. My sites are often down or their site (freezone.co.uk) is down, or both. Their online help is currently not functioning. When their site is down you can do nothing about your own sites being down. I loose money because of their endless technical issues. I have no choice but to move my domains and hosting to another provider as soon as my yearly contract runs out. This is a shame, because they offer very reasonable prices… Read Full Review

Swiftly and soon seem to have lost their meaning, sorry guys if this continues for any longer I will have to move my 5 Domain package somewhere else. Don’t take a multi-year package with them as I did. You may loose out twice, no good service and you may not get what you have paid for. N.B. Their answer phone states: ”…but our online chat is available 24hours..” I am afraid it is not
