Ok to setup. But really poor when things go wrong. I think their tech staff are shocking to say the least.
We pay premium rates to host a business website but receive a very poor service in return.
On a plus they answer you quickly and I like the chat feature they have on their website.
Find another ISP there are much better out there!- Read basic147's review (65 words)

I have found freezone.co.uk a very professional web hosts in the current market - why ? well there are multiple reasons - the way they provide the Online Support is incredible - when I join chat support - the particular folk gets engaged with me totally and answer my questions respectively, not even answer, resolves it straight away
as far as I have experienced, they have very qualified staff especially technical support because their momentum of resolving technical queries is really incredibl ...- Read Guest's review (122 words)

I pay for 50Mb of web space, which I assumed would get me 50Mb of web space, not so with freeserve, they inflate it with all manner of useless folders and log files and use your email account as part of the disk usage, my site is 27Mb but I constantly get hassled to upgrade my account because I have gone over the 50Mb- Read Guest's review (64 words)

Free Zone have lost me £1000's.
They have tried to double and triple charge me. Only after very lengthy disputes have they attempted to resolve any issues.
My advice if your looking to leave them and you have a .co.uk with them simply as nominet.org.uk to transfer the domain to you for £12 and then find a new host.
Seriously think again before using them they are so hit and miss it is unbelieveable.

Generally I've been happy with freezone. It was easy to set up and has been easy to maintain.Recently, however, I had an email notifying me that my disk usage has increased to over my 500MB limit and advising me to upgrade my account. I was somewhat mystified as I hadn't updated the site for months and no new files had been added.I had lots of dormant files in the directory that could be deleted without affecting the site and I deleted these. Result? Disk usage went UP from 503MB to 506MB!!I the ...- Read loneturtle's review (173 words)

Freezone were easy to sign up with but problems for me seemed to come later. They made me pay a fee to leave and the process seemed to take weeks as I didn't receive a response to my emails.
Support was OK at first but after a year or so an important domain wasn't renewed, this caused me a day or two of not just downtime but replacing the site with enom's auto-advertisements which didn't appear to help my SEO.
We purchased whois privacy but didn't seem to get it - after a month or two it appea ...- Read harby's review (177 words)

Quality services, fast response via ticketing system and very helpful staff members! I've been hosting a few websites with Freezone since early 2004 after moving from another UK based host and can truly say that Freezone is one of the better hosting providers in the UK.Since 2004 there has been a few instances where we had problems with our services but those issues were resolved quickly and are something of the past. The services that we've been seeing the last couple of years are of the highes ...- Read Guest's review (110 words and 3 comments)

Free Zone. I've been a reseller for 3 years, I'm very happy with them. No real issues at all. It does what it says on their website and that's a lot of things. Check out the deal they have done.Excellent Support.- Read fmirza's review (41 words)

I felt I was misinformed from the begining. We paid for a Windows hosting package but the freezone technical personnel configured our domain on a linux platform. Then we were charged extra for platform change. Once payment was made it took these people more than 2 weeks to set it up. Poor customer service.- Read Viraj's review (57 words and 1 comment)

We require our website being up and running 100%, a large proportion of sales come through internet sales - We can't afford the loss of service. Customers will not bother coming back if the service of the internet is not maintained.
If maintenance is planned then they need to make arrangements for this. Who knows - if this is the case because they don't provide any information.- Read Guest's review (129 words)

Signed up to freezone online and within 5 minutes I had all my ftp log in details and login details for the Plesk 7 control panel. Within half an hour of ordering a domain and hosting package. I had my e-mails and website set up and working beautifully. Highly recommended, go Free Zone!- Read mikesearle's review (72 words and 3 comments)

Free Zone made it very awkward for me to transfer away, in my opinion charging silly prices and then dragging it out by making me submit every piece of id ever known to man. Their staff were unhelpful and discourteous.! Waste of money for me and very hard to get rid of, don't recommend Free Zone.- Read Guest's review (66 words and 1 comment)
