Absolute Nightmare - Just Don't Go There!

I ignored the negative reviews and thought they were probably from people who didn't know what they were doing - I was wrong!

Phone Eukhost and you'll speak to someone who is polite and persuasive and tells you everything you want to hear, but don't be fooled.

They give the impression of being a UK hosting company but don't be mislead by the plumy English voice that routes your call. Eukhost is based in India and although some of the tech support people speak good English, others are incomprehensible and don't seem very technically competent either.

They claim to give telephone technical support, but in fact when there is a technical problem you are told to use live chat - you can't speak to a technician. When you use live chat you can wait up to ten minutes to a reply for each line of chat, so a chat that should last a few minutes can take an hour or two. The alternative is to use email and a reply can take several hours - a long time when your site is down, particularly when they don't solve the problem.

The upload protocols are incomprehensible and unlike any other host I have dealt with. Initially my domain was showing a gambling site instead of mine, and in fact I had a whole week of zero up time and during my time with this company my site never worked properly.

I wasted a week of my life trying to deal with this outfit and learned my lesson. "If it seems too good to be true, then it probably is." In the end I phoned the host I had migrated from. They changed the name servers for me and my site was up and running within an hour.

The only good thing I can say about this company is that there is a 30 day money back guarantee!

I transferred to eUKHosts about 2 years ago (2007).
I transferred to eUKHosts because my current host at the time had issues with allowing my website to contact other sites (SSL).

After the transfer I found them to be very good at the control they give you over your account.
Most hosts don't give you FULL control over your DNS records, but with this control I was able to setup a mail server in my office and have all the mail come to it directly without needing any help.

Our site has currently beend down for 24 hours, intially we were told they were getting a denial of service attack on our server.

This afternoon they changed their story to their being a problem with the raid array which meant they were rebuilding it.

It is now almost 11pm a day later and we still have no site and are increasingly frustrated by their dishonesty and lack of technical skills to fix the problem.

Surely this goes agains eveything known about raid arrays and continuation of serv ...

Excellent value. Easy to upload ftp. Few outages if at all. Loads of bandwidth and a fast website host. Support documentation is excellent as is their Technical Support who have resolved issues quickly and accurately. I'd highly recommend eUKhost.co.uk to those who require a good PHP / Linux server.

I think people are way to fussy with their complaints, im amazed at the patience and support Eukhost offer. Outstanding customer support, very quick servers, feel very confident leaving my sites in Eukhosts capable hands

Our website and e-mail seems to be down more than up 10 months ago it was very good, but has now got very bad over the last month.
We are going to change to a different hosting company and cut the contract short.

I do not recommend E UK hosting due the service I feel I received from my experience - Countless in my experience, but to mention a few;
1. Server goes off very frequently
2. Email doesn't work
3. Websites down for most of the time
4. No one to care about the problems as they think if its working fine at their end then there is no problem et al.
5. They change server without even giving notification

I had never heard of them and picked them for the range of features having been disappointed with trials of 1-1 and Fasthosts. I have been very pleased with their Live Chat tech support who have helped me quickly and efficiently with some quite complex issues.

I'm not a heavy user - just a few pages for my family.
Prices are good, product is good enough (for me).
When I needed support to add a new feature, or when I had quereis about my bill, answer was prompt and problems resolved. Therefore well recommend E UK Hosting.com

Their control panel system is insecure and use a non-standard port. Their billing dept are unhelpful in my experience. I personally have not been happy with their support, they just requests to an FAQ system.

Their customer service were unhelpful as far as I am concerned! I have experienced very bad attitudes, non willingness to problem solve and had my site revert to previous versions in my opinion, and then been asked to pay an admin fee for them to run a backup?! Not worth it as far as I am concerned.
Would be great if they resolved their customer service and general communication problems. Is too late to keep me as a customer though.

PriceValue for moneyQuick to respond to my 2 requests for help, one was with Live chat that worked really well.
I have only used them for 2 months so it may be premature but for value for money it is hard to beat, especially if you can find a voucher code, I got 15% taken off my yearly charge!

I have been using eUKhost for over a year and have found them to be ideal for my needs. I have been particularly pleased with their technical support who have always been very quick to respond and have helped me out of a pickle several times.
