The Motorola V70 is a fantastic little "ladies" phone. Looks even better if you replace the bezel with a "diamond bezels". I have 3 interchangeable bezels 1.white diamond 2.sapphire and diamond 3.ruby and diamond. My phone always causes a stir. (read more)

The Motorola V70 has a cool traditional clock screen saver, a Futuristic looking silver body, black screen and keys that are backlit blue.
The features are minimal and the reception and sound quality are terrible. While driving on the freeway in a 98 toyota camry without the radio on, I can barely hear the other party. While at parties i often have to go into the restroom or a closet just to use the phone. Also, 1 out of 10 calls are dropped. I got this phone free from tmobile and would...

oh man! chicks adore this phone! I have had a dozen phones or so so far and this one is simply the "hit" The blues backlights r awesome. chicks dig that too. I broke the antenna on mine but I still had no problem using the phone..:). This is as far as it goes. It's a show-off phone. The menu is bad, the screen is too small. Too bad it does not have polyphonic r-tones. (read more)

The phone is very stylish and unique, possibly the most stylish phone out at the moment. Its very easy to use once you get used to it, i.e the predictive texting is different but very simple once you understand how to use it. The blue back light is very attractive and the rotary feature makes it different from all the other mobile phones. The phone is expensive yet worth the money! (read more)

The phone is awesome looking. But it's "awesomeness" goes no further... The only redeemable thing about the phone is the fact that people notice it. The display is a little too small, the menu is pretty rediculous, and there are no features to it what-so-ever. For the $500 that i paid for it, i got nothing more than a cool case. The games had glitches left and right... such as blackjack, the dealer always wins. what's the deal with that? There is nothing about the phone that makes spending... (read more)

Simply HOT phone. Girls go crazy over it. But I must say it is type of a girlish phone. AND YOU CAN ADD MORE RINGTONES! Some people think that you can not add more ringtones, yes you can, "MY MELODYS" is where you gotta look. It has a composer! Not a good one, but it does. Small buttons, but then again any small phone has small buttons. Obviously this phone is for people with small hands. (thats why women like it) Nice blue light. Has an inside modem, perfect for businessmen. And an FM... (read more)

This phone is lovely but the menus are so appallingly set up that you need to press a million keys in all parts of the phone to achieve the simplest task. The predictive text stinks so badly that I don't even bother using it, and standard tap-entry is hit-and-miss as the keys have a slight delay before registering presses so it is easy to type faster than it can cope with. Love 'em or hate 'em Nokia have the interface sewn up. Why can't other manufacturers just look at their phones and... (read more)

I disagree on your comment about the charger. It is the fastest phone to charge. It only takes a maximum of 2 hours to charge (a lot less if full charging is required)! Its a pretty phone and not full of the usual clutter of mostly frivolous applications that Nokia's are noted for, hence this is a serious phone for serious people who only want to make and answer calls. The key pad is a bit annoying but you can get the hang of it (only if you don't have massive hands).

I disagree with you in the respect that the phone is usless, slow charging and whatever else. How ever i agree that the phone is too expensive. But in the end when you are walking down the street with the best looking phone on the market nobody in their right minds cares about the phones tech specs. You look the part and THATS THE BOTTOM LINE

There's no doubt that the V70 is extremely stylish. That's what sold it to me - it's totally different to to the Nokia that nearly everyone seems to have these days. Unfortunately looks can be deceiving. One of the things you take for granted with Nokias is their ease of use. While the V70 has some nifty features such as programmable nav keys and the ability to customise menus, it also falls down in a number of areas:- Firstly, I've had no end of problems in the two months since purchasing... I generally use my V70 for short necessary phone calls here and there. There are several features on this phone that I don't use like calendar, FM Radio (which requires a headset not included), and T-zones (which I may add later on). All and all I would say this phone is best suited for those who can sacrifice games, ringtones, downloadables, and care more about using the phone for its more intended purpose: making phone calls. This V70 phone from Motorola is an Eye catcher. The scrolling features are really nice, just like the movie "minority report" when Tom Cruise is searching up the date base files, the smooth file scrolling feature is what this phone gives u. But the structure of the phone, especially the 360 degree rotating keypad cover seems a little too fragile or weak. And it'd be nice if there was a release switch to automatically rotate the keypad without having to slide it open using ur thumb. (read more)

I've own a few mobile phones before - mainly Nokias, but this Motorola V70 quite simply outshines all the others purely on its design alone.
I wanted a phone which looks different from the other clam shells and bar soaps. I didn't buy it for its features, whether its got Bluetooth, or its got a digital camera built in. If I wanted a digital camera I buy a digital camera, and for the same price as the 'other' camera phones I could buy a far better digital camera. And as I don't own a laptop...

What a great mobile phone this Motorola V70 is! My last phone (An Ericsson A628S) got damaged when I had it in my pocket so I was on the look out for a new phone. This Motorola V70 mobile phone looks the business. It has a wicked neon blue display and unique revolving fascia, which adds to the overall 'cool' effect.
If you're used to Nokia user interfaces though, it's strange trying to navigate through the features on this phone.
The selection of pre-programmed ringtones is pretty poor and after having had a look about on the 'net, no where seems to support ringtones or logos for the V70, especially not when your network provider is Orange.

If you're happy with the functionality of nokia stick with them, otherwise be different and get a motorola V70 mobile phone. Overall I am very happy with the phone, it looks very cool, is easy to use and I do not regret giving up my nokia. I've had my Motorola V70 mobile phone for the past month and i've been very happy with it. Styling wise, it looks far better than any other phone on the market (Nokia included), the construction feels soild and the LCD is easy to read in both outdoors and indoors. First the bad news on the Motorola V70 mobile phone. After a while the rotating motion does become tiresome while the small screen is something that takes a lot of getting used to.
However, the new Motorola design team have worked wonders on this phones styling. I believe that this phone will make history as the first of a new and more stylish breed and this goes a long to way to making it a pleasure to own.
Congratulations Motorola for the V70 and continue the good work.
