Having been down Manchester's Canal Street on the Friday night with 17 friends on a hen night, the Birdcage was a bit of a disappointment for a Saturday night out. We would have had a better night back in Canal Street. The venue itself is nice inside. If you're just after a good dance then fine. But unless you've reserved a table, it's hard to hang on to a seat. Expected style and sophistication from the drag queens, but compared to Funny Girls in Blackpool, this was more like Chubby...
