Bought it because it was the only non-drowsy one on the shelf and found it to be brilliant! The initial taste is terrible... sort of a burnt toffee taste with some kind of peppermint, eucalyptus vaopur that fills the airways. But almost instantly as it burns its way down the throat, you're left feeling so much better! It takes away the rawness of the throat and warms the chest at the same time. I only paid £2 for it in my little local pharmacy - not sure how much it retails for in boots etc. (read more)

Just googled this product cos i've been using it and think its really great. I've used it a couple of times now and I feel it works instantly as you drink it. The taste is pleasant and it definietly soothes your throat straight away. I cant remember how much i paid for it but think it was fairly expensive, however i havent checked for alternatives. the only downside to this product is you have to keep using it to get the benefits and could mean purchasing a second bottle. Absolutely disgusting. But it does the job! You can feel when it starts to wear off after 3 hours and this reminds you what a good job its doing. Very fast acting too, so when you take your next dose you feel better immediately. (read more)
