I'm very surprised to see there are no reviews about Daunt Books in London : an impeccable small chain. I live closest to the one in Fulham Road, which is very good. My favourite store though is the one on Marylebone High Street - the back of the store has a glass roofed atrium with galleries full of books. Yep, there are even some comfy armchairs to sit and read. A book lovers paradise. I never leave without finding some random and interesting book I would never have thought about! (read more)
