Good Points: Thankfully my telephone and Broadband connection are working.
Bad Points: Customer service very poor in my opinion. Do not respond to emails. Do not return telephone calls. I have received neither email address nor "free" router! Am totally unable either by phone or email to get any action from these people.
General comments: Sadly, there is a general air of indifference. The new customer codes supplied to me as a new customer were not recognised and so I was unable to set up my new email address. They were unable to give me new codes and so I am left with nothing. The "free" router has not been delivered and they have not followed through as they promised.Altogether, a most dismal performance.

Have used this ISP for over a year; reliable sevice, speed only limited by my distance from exchange (about 3.4 Mbits/sec) - way better than my previous ISP (Pipex) who only gave me about 1 Mbit/sec. Just a basic internet link (no newsgroups etc) but it suits me.- Read tiko's review (49 words)

First of all I have paid £116 for line installation when in reality it was only activation which should have cost me 16 pounds.Second, one of the reasons for choosing them was 28 days contract, but in reality it is a year-long contract with 28 days line rental agreement. So now I have to pay another 50 quid to switch ISP.- Read kpocius's review (64 words)

Became totally fed up with the poor service BT were giving me, in particular the spying tactics they have employed, plus the general service received. I decided to give DST a try, big mistake, one of the people they employ on customer services put me in their business telephone directory and since then I have been inundated with telephone call from people trying to sell me everything from double glazing to 3 legged camals, its been a nightmare. The broadband side has been OK, but after dealing w ...- Read Guest's review (187 words)

I've been with DST for 18 months now and never experienced any problems. The broadband speed's ok and so is the phone service. I've recently thought about changing to another provider as they offered me a slightly better deal but as there's a £50 cancellation fee so it's not really worth of hassle. I think that's the only bad point of DST that I can think of - for me anyway...- Read quest07's review (70 words)

It was very difficult to make a good communication with customer servicer I personally wont trust them on agreements. Overall, be careful on every aspect of being with this company and keep a very close eye on your account. As far as I am concerned they have overcharged me.- Read rowenawang's review (89 words)

Now dropped to 700kb. They tell me they will get an engineer to sort it @ £140. Now there is a £50.00 leaving fee as far as I am concerned therefore due to my experience with this internet provider I do not recommend directsavetelecom.co.uk to anyone.- Read Rayblue10's review (57 words)

I have found DST provide a reliable broadband and telephone service although I can only receive 2MB on my telephone line and therefore I don't know how reliable DST are in that way. Customer services via telephone helpful. Telephone - seems cheaper calls than BT.- Read weaver1's review (59 words)

I have been with DST Broadband for 10 months now, and I'm still waiting for my free e-mail address. As for speed, I've had 3.2 meg for 10 days! NOW 612.meg. Can't wait to leave. 50 cancelation fee. Think twice, STAY CLEAR.- Read Guest's review (43 words)

I would not go with DST - Direct Save Telecom if they were the last Broadband provider in the world - total waste of time. They keep reducing their rates....I wonder why?!?!!?- Read charla102's review (127 words)
