Bad Points: Having to leave......

General comments: I have visited FonteSasso on 3 occassions, twice during the summer, and once over New Year, and have every intention of returning for a fourth time! The villa is spacious,well equipt, and offers wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. In the summer the villas pool is a welcome luxury, and the beach is only a short drive away. In the winter, snow permitting, the skiing in the near-by mountains is an added bonus. The local shops and markets of Gualdo (an easy stroll) and Sarnano (a short drive) are great for pottering, and the surrounding restaturants offer the most amazing and authentic Italian food.I have always been made to feel very welcome by the villas owners who are a great source of knowledge on Le Marche region. Its a perfect place to escape from busy city life and I look forward to my next trip!!

Myself, my husband and our young child holidayed at FonteSasso Villa in June 2008 for nearly 11 nights. We were blessed with the most fabulous weather and we simply enjoyed all that Fontesasso and Gualdo had to offer. Everything we needed was there allowing total relaxation for us even with a young child! We hired a car at the airport and on our way stocked up on mainly baby bits from the large shopping centre in Civitonova. We rarely used the car after this which makes a change from life back a ...

Fontesasso is a wonderful place to stay and the staff made us feel so welcome. Even if the weather turns there is an impressive collection of DVD's and boardgames to entertain and the house is very homely, making staying in a pleasure too. The staff were the perfect hosts, tending to our every needs without the need to ask for anything. They were extremely helpful with advice and information about the surrounding area. An all round great holiday. The mountain views are great and our hosts were very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will certainly be back to this part of Italy and have recommended this place to friends. Hopefully when our children are just a bit older we may return to ski in the winter.

My wife and I had a holiday in Italy at the end of August. We had previously spent time in Rome and were looking for somewhere to relax after the rigors of sight-seeing. We were not disappointed at all with our stay in Gualdo. Our hosts were charming and helpful, offering valuable assistance on where to eat out in the area as well as suggesting interesting places to visit. FonteSasso Villa are at a wonderful location and ideal for a family holiday or a short break. Close to Gualdo Le Marche, which is fantastic with local facilities nearby, breathtaking views of the mountains and quiet, private gardens and swimming pool. The views from the pool are stunning. We had complete privacy and were welcomed by the owners who live in the apartment on the ground floor. We found them helpful and charming.
