When I went to the seller to buy the new one, he simply suggested me the Apple Macbook Pro. As many of my friends have advised me for this one, I simply agreed to him, and moved ahead to buy that one. What one can say about Apple MacBook Pro. They are simply great. Their laptops stand apart from any of the other brands. Their delivery process is quick as well. The packaging was remarkable as expected, sleek and proper. The accessories are also incomparable like the keyboard is also great. I use it for longer times and found that the battery life is quite good.

It all depends on what you do with laptop to determine whether you buy mac or pc, I've used both since I were a youngun and can say my life has been easier since I went mac (you never go back). It also has that pulling power that all other laptops never to bother to emulate, if you're into looks that is. However macbook pros have the power to back it up. My only problem are the little things, finder can be irritating if you're an obsessive compulsive person, full screen windows have to manually manipulated, the offical mac mouse set to max-speed is still abismally slow - you need to buy a normal mouse from another manufacturer or download app (not free)... These aren't dealbreakers, just stuff we take for granted from windows, so close to perfection osx, so close.

It is a good laptop,I am very like it!If the battery dies, then the laptop isn't as useful, because it will need to be plugged in at all times in order to function. ~~laptopinc。COM 。au~~ tell you the way to solve this is to purchase.

I bought this machine for my parter 3 months ago and she loves it The quality of the physical thing is far higher than most windows machines out there, it is a beautiful thing to look and feel. However the operating system really is not that intuitive at time when you have come from a windows environment. One example is that where you can alt + tab in windows and flick between every individual one. Where as on the Apple, you can only seem to flick between applications, not their seperate windows. Other points to note are that the mice do not seem as responsive as a windows machine. I have tweaked settings and seem to still get the same result. Despite using and apple mouse. One other thing, get Microsoft Office for Apple. iWork totally sucks. Apart from the animated graphs in keynote, it is not very good! Thanks

I bought my apple macbook pro to take on tour. As a dj i can run a lot more software on it, ableton live, logic pro 9 etc. without it stalling or crashing like my old macbook 13". I also like the bigger screen, it allows me to see more and have more windows up to play with whilst doing live mixes.
All in all, I think its a little overpriced (like most apple products) but it's a good bit of kit and really reliable.
The battery life is also really good as normal laptops tend to run out of juice after 3-4 hours, my macbook pro can go 8+ hours meaning that i only really have to charge it once a day on tour or once every two days if im using it at home for surfing.

I love my Macbook Pro although it just seems to be running quite slow for the past 12mnths. I have reformatted my computer and its still slow. I don't have any viruses on my computer so i don't think this is a contributing factor. This probably my biggest complaint with this laptop. I think the battery life could also be a little better too. Apple seems to love to increase battery life with each new model. The problem with this is that we either have to hold out for the new versions to come when they could really add this simple feature that everyone always complains about in the beginning. What I love is the simplicity of the interface though & i can't see myself ever buying a PC again.

I bought my mpb around 1 year ago and thought i would share my experience with reviewcenter.
For the 1st 6 months it was all fine, it was fast worked prefectly. Basically no issues at all. But around april I started having issues. The casing started giving me electric shocks and one day it made a massive pop and scared the hell out of me.
A few days later I took it into Apple, they were very helpful and replaced some sort of board. I was pleased with their service.
Now the screen is developing dead pixels....
The best thing about Apple product is their support, i know when i can be bothered i can take this in and they will fix it.

The MacBook Pro is Apple's first professional grade laptop to sport latest Intel Core Duo processor. It replaces the old Powerbook G4 and outperforms it easily.
The all alluminium design is both easy on the eye and durable, not to mention extremely light and the display is top notch. Producing 1440x900 in just 15.4" is an excellent achievement and easily better my Toshiba P20's 17" screen.
Inside the hard drive is pure SATA running at around 5400rpm. Whilst this is no faster than IDE drives it should be noted that the transfer rate for these drives is much higher. So the difference is there to be felt.
OS X runs fantastically. I simply can't tell you what a joy it is to use. The 2.0 GHz Core Duo (essentially a dual processor and the single chip) it runs like a dream. But the Apple has another trick up its sleeve. Using a piece of software called Boot Camp, it is actually possible to install Windows (XP SP2) onto a created partition and run all your Windows apps on the same platform.
Furthermore, while in OS X a system called Rosetta allows you to run your old PowerPC on the new Intel hardware. Admittedly not at 100% of the performance you used to see, buy users or 1.0 GHz and lower G4 will actually see an INCREASE in performance using this system.
One area where Apple lagged behind the competition was in the performance of its core graphics processors. This laptop comes sporting an ATI X1600 with either 128mb or 256mb of dedicated RAM. It's no slouch anymore and most PC games run under Boot Camp. So far I've tested Medal of Honour, Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2. All work.
Finally, the software bundled with the hardware is the usual quality range of 'life' products you should come to expect from Apple. If you need an excuse to go Apple but need to make sure you can run some Windows apps . here is that excuse. Remember, this is quality hardware and somehow that £1399 starting price doesn't seem quite so bad.
