Good Points: Metal Slide White dot sites. -25 round mag. -Nice blow back. $110 -300 fps. You can buy a threaded barrel for silencers. It has better gas consumption then the WE 1911. It's accurate,(clean the barrel after every 250 shots or so). Green gas has lube in the gas so all you have to do is give the barrel a swab. Field stripping is extremely easy, and you won't lose any pieces because all you have to do is hold down a button and then turn. A great sidearm all around.

Bad Points: Mags can be expensive,(anywhere from 30-40 dollars each). High Maintenance if you want the best out of your gun.(Lube where the slide goes to the frame). Green gas is expensive,(get a propane adapter too). Cannot use during the winter, or cooler seasons. Not the best accuracy, nor range.

General comments: I bought this m9 after being annoyed with my WE1911 Tactical because of it's finicky slide catch, and gas consumption.(I got it used from a retailer who was supposed to send me a BRAND NEW ONE) The m9 on the other hand was a great improvement to the WE. The m9 did have the metal slide but not the metal frame. The magazine was wider then the WE, and held more rounds. The mag actually allowed the gas to expand in the mag and I could shoot more rounds off with the same amount of gas compared to the WE. The white dot sites are great, and allow the user to quickly acquire the target. If you have handled any 1911 airsoft gun, you will notice that the grip of the m9 is thicker then the 1911. I personally don't like the thickness compared to the 1911 but I cannot complain. The accuracy is average, may be a bit below, but I have yet to fully test it. The gun is DOUBLE ACTION. I like to load a bb in the chamber and then put the mag and then pull the trigger, because the hammer will pull back and then be pushed foward, that way I can pull off 26-27 rounds. The magazine on the other hand is a bit expensive when you compare it to the 1911 WE. 15 rounders for the 1911 cost 15 dollars while a 26 round mag for the m9 costs a good 30 dollars. To be honest the blow back is kinda wimpy compared to the 1911 or at least to me. The slide does give a good recoil affect but it's not the strongest I've handled before. The gun is great all around plinker or sidearm, but is not recommended to be used as primary unless you are playing against other Gbb or springers. The mag does cool down, not as much as the WE but shooting it quickly will compromise your range and the amount of rounds you can fire. I would recommend this to all airsofters who are m9 fans.
