Good Points: It's free on Freeview, and is one of the few 'entertainment' channels on Freeview. It has some good new and old sci-fi shows that other channels do not cover enough, it brings some of the best U.S. shows to British television
Bad Points: It self promotes to a ridiculous degree. The promotion for The Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles was totally over the top. It stopped me watching Star trek Deep Space Nine, which it advertised itself twice per show! At what point did Virgin One not think we had seen it? Did it think it got new viewers every single night?!
General comments: Virgin One, as an entertainment channel on Freeview has no equal. If it could broadcast during the day as well as evening, it would rule Freeview. If it could just cut back on showing shows so often every week. (Terminator Chronicles is in it's 4th showing in as many days!) By repeating as often as they do, it is difficult to know when a new show is on unless you really digest the schedules - which most don't. other channels do this too. And this will stop Freeview being all it could be.

This channel is bravo, living and a little bit of sci fi all rolled into one. If you already have these channels you will never watch this one as you will have seen the majority of it's content before. Poor. Not even close to sky one.

Virgin 1 really good new entertainment channel with some brand new US dramas, brand new UK documentaries, as well as quality repeats like Seinfeld and Star Trek, plus it's on freeview, virgin tv and sky.
