Good Points: Cool design GPS Video player 3.5mm Head phone jack Internet 3 mega pixel camera
Bad Points: GPS slow to find position sometimes Only plays real media files (i think) Battery life isn't too great if you use gps or video
General comments: The Samsung i560 Review -
Another great samsung phone.
Looks great, feels well built, smooth sturdy slide.
At first I thought the GPS didn't work as I would leave it for ages and not find my position. I took it for a drive and it connected after about 10 minutes. Now it finds its position fairly quickly.
The included gps software (Route 66) is reasonable, and on paper would appear to be comparable to tom tom or navman. However it is a little rough around the edges, with inferior route correction and poor phrasing of voice commands. Regardless of this, it was still better than I expected for gps on a phone.
Video playback is pretty good. The only problem with it is that it seems to only play real media files so you have to convert a lot of files before putting them on the phone.
Battery life is good if you use it just as a phone, but if you watch a lot of videos, play games or use gps, it chews through a fair bit of battery.
The inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack is great because you can use some decent quality headphones for audio.
Overall I would say this is a great little phone, with plenty of features to keep you entertained. I'm very happy with mine
