Good Points: Good site for the classic car enthusiast.

Bad Points: Buyers guides are in PDF and not text format.

General comments: The Octane Magazine website (www.octane-magazine.com) contains a wealth of information for the classic car enthusiast including events, cars for sale, directory, subscription deals and features or videos to download.

There has been over 50 issues of Octane produced, and from the outset it set a very high standard indeed. Good columnists and the ability to unearth the unusual and rare cars, not to mention drivers with an interesting history and personality. Also great at finding people who have a story to tell of their involvement in a particular car or manufacturer.

It's not cheap by the time it gets to NZ, (its a UK magazine) but of all the magazines I buy, this would probably be the last one I'd dump ...
