Good Points: soft shiny coat
firm bowel movements after he eats
white eyes
less doggy odor
Bad Points: I have not noticed any bad points at this time.
General comments: This Dick Van Pattern's Natural Balance food has made me and my puppy very happy!! I have a 5 month old Cocker Spaniel every food that I tried up until Natural Balance Duck and potato resulted in loose bowel movements for my puppy. After two days on this food no more itchy skin, no more crust eyes and no more loose bowels. His coat is soft and shiny, his eyes are white and healthy looking and he poops after his meals and they are very firm but not hard. An added bonus is his doggy odor has been cut way down. This is a wonderful food at a great price.

After feeding some of the more popular brands here to our Springer Spaniel Puppy, and just watching her get sick and the cost of Vet bills piling up, we chose to switch to Dick Van Pattern's Natural Balance dog food. It does cost more, but the vet bills alone were killing our budget more.
Our puppy no longer suffers from bouts of colitis and pancreatitis, and remains an ever go lucky pup.
