Good Points: The style and finish are great.

Bad Points: Bad barrel to spring tube fit. Heavy trigger pull. Whole rifle is heavy. Scope has "issues" when moving through power range to keep in focus.

General comments: I fell for the hype of the high velocity, accuracy, and of course the Benjamin name. I have about 150 rounds through the Super Streak and am very disappointed. 3 shots might group 1/2" then every thing goes wacko. I tried 5 different pellets and things went from bad to good to terrible and back. I finally noted that the barrel was literally pointing to the right. I then noticed that the barrel actually can be moved from right to left, no wonder I can't keep any accuracy. I waiting for an email from Crosman right now to see if it can be sent back for replacement. I hope they stand behind it or I'm out $349.00.

The power of the rifle is hard at 60 feet, that all my pellets traps are in the trash. I had to make a Pellet trap custom, made in 1/8 inch steel. Now I have no problem with my pellets traps. I bought my rifle on October 2008, Today, MAY 5, 2009, I am making the arragements with the company I boughted the rifle here in Puerto Rico, to claim WARRANTY FOR 2nd TIME for the same problem, A BROKEN SPRING. They change me the rifle for a new one on January 2009 and Now I claiming for a new one, beca ...

I think that the Benjamin Sheridan super streak needs a laser poiter. Its got anazing power and accuracy but I found it vbery diffficult to zero in the scope.

I was very disappointed with both of these guns; not only is the trigger mechanism junk but the gun was very inaccurate as well.
Both of these guns were 22.s.
I purchased these guns from Airguns Of Arizona. The have been wonderful about replacing them, they have given me full credit towards the purchase of an RWS 350. I should have ordered the RWS in the first place, I already have 3 of them in my collection, but I was sucked in by the testimontals on this and other sites.
To sum it up, I foun ...

I bought the gun for $300 including the scope, the scope is pretty nice but it comes with a poor mount. If you fire it with just mounting the scope it WILL slide back and wreck the mounts. In the back mount you will see a hole if you take the scope off, put a small allen wrench down it and screw it into the hole in the reciever where you mount the scope, it will solve your problems.
I chronographed 7.9 grain pellets and they hit 1000fps MAX
8.2 grain are doing 1050 oddly.
    and 4.8 grain to 6.7 gr ...

Over all great buy. Use heavy pellet for best accuracy. Remember the rifle has a heavy piston so the light pellets may damage the your rifle.

I own a few break barrel rifles , one by gamo the shadow 1000 , and the other is a crosman sierra pro 1000.i was in the process of buying another break barrel rifle in .177 but with more power and better quality. i was researching the gamo hunter extreme , rws 460, and the benjamin super streak.i found that many people spoke highly of the super streak and many preferred it over the gamo hunter extreme.the rws 460 is a quality gun but for that dollar amount i can not see myself spending double th ...

Gun has big power, breaks sound barrier every time with 7.9g lead, hits hard, makes my beloved Gamo Shadow seem like a toy. Put about 170 rounds through it, is breaking in nicely. I do not have the scope on it. Open sites are excellent, metal with good adjustment range. Cocking is more difficult than most, but not too bad, is worth it for the power and is getting easier. Gun is a little heavier than most, but slim stock and open pistol grip make it feel more nimble. When barrel is broken open, i ...
