  Bad Points: No more display, the usual disease... Not very high quality from the outside, you need to listen the unit to understand it's a keeper.

  General comments: The Proton 830R is a keeper, for sure.Even if the display is out, listen to the unit before to judge it. Very good sounding ! Clear, good definition, good bass, sweet treble, and the highs are crystal clear. Soundstage is ok. It's amazing like old stuff like that, with Philips CDM2/10 and TDA1540P can sound.

  With time new quality problems appear Instability of the sound The digits are partially not readable The remote control is dead But the sound is always good!
