    Good Points: Gun has a really nice barrel and swings nicely. The slide on the pump is really smooth when you have shot about 50 rounds.


    Bad Points: The Ejector stopped working. But i think i can get that fixed. everybody else i have talked to has had no problems with it but mine is very picky on when it want to eject a round


    General comments: I think the Remington Model 870 is a very reliable gun it is easy to clean and shoots great. I mean with open sights i was shooting a 3" group at 50 yards! you cant really argue with those results. I love the gun and have shot several deer with it myself. i have it in 20ga. I recommend a 20ga. you are just killing your shoulder with a 12ga. But that is just me i guess. I shoot the remington slugger. Plain and simple and gets the job done. I am overall very impressed with this gun and i would buy another gun again with a rifled bore instead for deer.
