Good Points: Very inexpensive .22 cal Break barrel @ 550 fps
    length: 43"
    Weight: 6 lbs
    OK plinker w/power of .22
Excellent shooter after 1000 round tune, Barrel truing and a scope.
    Excellent light weight and balance.
    Monty Carlo stock

Bad Points: Like most Chinese rifles, this is not a take out of the box and shoot gun. A good cleaning is minimal. then it's good as a plinker.
Stiff creepy trigger out of the box. Recoil is horrendous at first ruins accuracy.
Cheap sights require a scope for my aging eyes.
Although the say they're fine with maintenance, I don't like leather seals..
    Ok finish, Better than theB1

General comments: I can Highly recommend, Recommend, and not recommend this gun depending on who you are and what you want.
    Maybe I expected too much.
    Maybe I'm too fussy,
Or maybe I just wrote this off as a $35.00 gun and accepted it as just that.
In either case this gun felt too good in the hands to give up on so...
Just as I was about to give up on this inexpensive gun all the while wishing I spent a little more money.
I decided to try one last tune.
Cleaning, Lube & polish helped a little but not much.
I read on the web a few more things I thought I could apply to this gun.
I trued the barrel as I was getting stray fliers every 3-4 shots and sometimes 2-3 in a row. Then decided I'd take it out and run another 500 or so plinking rounds through it. Referred to as the 1000 round tuneup.
It has always been a good plinker bit I wanted more accuracy.
The recoil and trigger was getting much more manageable as as the shots ran through, as was my technique. (light hold at balance) This is a well balanced gun to begin with.
After that I decided to set up some scope zeroing targets.
I'm now totally satisfied at the 20-30 yd accuracy. Actually impressed.
If your expectations are as low as mine were, you might find yourself fulfilling a self fulfilling prophecy....Don't give up on this gun, Keep playing with it and keep shooting it.
I think what I've proven is that you don't have to ALWAYS totally disassemble Chinese guns and polish, hone, lube, clean, adjust, and completely rebuild them .
I'm sure it helps and would probably result in an even smoother longer lasting gun but If you don't want to or don't possess the tools and materials you can get a rewarding shooter just by shooting till a very long break-in is complete.
I get a lot of satisfaction from turning a cheap gun with potential into a fine shooter. If you do too buy this gun if you want an out of the box powerful plinker buy it if you want an out of the box accurate shooter look elsewhere.
