Good Points: Very easy to fly - even for beginners
Comes in 3 different bands so they can be flown together
Charges from remote control, so can be charged when out
Great value; between £15 - £25 depending on where purchased

Bad Points: Needs to be a very still day to fly outside
Although it says it can be used inside, you would need something like a sports hall

General comments: I bought an Silverlit X-Twin Turbo Fury Mini Plane for my 8 year old's birthday last year. It flies for ages from one charge, and is very easy to control. We have almost lost it a few times when it goes in the bushes or lake, because, even if you stop the throttle, it glides along for quite a distance before stopping. It is amazingly indestructible for such a light little plane. I had to buy another one (in a different colour and band) for my younger son because he loved it so much. My husband says he would have loved one of these when he was a kid! We previously had an Air Hogs plane, but it was nowhere near as good as these Silverlit planes.
