Worst company I have ever dealt with. They are rude, lacking in truthfulness and their business ethics are appalling.
They embody all the worst aspects of insurance.Dont touch them with a barge pole.

Paid mobile shop insurance with them for two years. When contacted to provide quote for new owner, they cancelled my policy with immediate effect saying that they should not have insured me in the first place. Though every detail was provide on each renewal. Their online applications are obviously not read through. The promised refund has still not materialised after two weeks, and I was not allowed to speak to anyone in authority. Disgusted

I am totally disgusted to find that I have just been charged £70 for the pleasure of leaving Yes....learnt a valuable lesson though - dont trust the cheapest quote on these comparison sites and read all small print!! Going back to Directline who I should never have left in first place cos would imagine yes charge the customer lots of hidden costs for claims too....would never recommend them!!

I have now learnt my lesson, always read reviews about companies and always read the small print. Ive been with Yes Insurance for a few years now and recently wanted to swap insurance over to my new car. The new quote they told me was £200 more than the cheapest quote i could find with a quick search on the comparison sites, also there own company came up £140 cheaper than they had told me over the phone. I called them back and explained this only to hear them repeat there's nothing ...

Completely disgusted with the level of Yes Car Insurance service. Cancelled my car insurance policy (only 4and a half months remaing until renewal) despite having paid the outstanding balance. They had to issue a new policy which was more expensive, however got them to agree price match and waive cancellation charges if I decided to cancel the policy when my original renewal was due on the old policy, however they did not price match and still debited my account with further payments and also d ...

I have been with Yes car insurance from December last year, I had to recently change my address due to a split with my partner, they are now charging me from £22.50 a month to £110 for the next 4 months until my renewal is up....i was discusted and the customer service was dreadful plus when i first took out the insurance i was promised £20 M&S vouchers which i never received and had to phone them constantly. My advise is if you are in doubt and may have to change address in f ...

i've never had any problems with yes insurance.. in june 2009 i had an accident which was unfortunatly classed as my fault! :( yes insurance sorted it out quickly and effortlessly with me having to only pay my excess, no hidden costs which surprised me and surprisingly they fixed my car valued at £1700 and cost of repair was £900?! my renewal was higher than the year before but a lot lower than some other quotes due to my claim..

Purchased online - £1400, Not cheap but comparable to the others. 4 months into the policy I changed my car, YES car insurance were awful, They quoted an additional £3000 over and above what I had already paid!! £2000 more than the competition! When I asked about cancelling the policy I was advised there would be a cancellation fee of £500. Plus various other fees and that I would receive a refund of £35.

Have had an epic struggle with yes car..they are cheap for a reason..in my opinion avoid at all costs. Customer service is appalling , i had my policy cancelled due to their computer system crashing.. i was promised a call to rectify the situation and it didnt happen. They did accept responsibility for the mistake but it did cost me 40 pounds ! The most expensive mistake ive never made. I think it rings true that you get what you pay for!

I moved to a different address 4 months after being insured through Yes car insurance and was told my policy would now be three times more expensive, even though my car was parked off road when at my previous address it was not, and the area I had moved to was considered to be a better/safer area.
Once they get you locked in they will do anything to charge ridiculous premiums, I really would save yourself the hassle and avoid these people like the plague!

My Quote for renewal was £609, but all of the comparison sites were quoting me £508. When I tried to call their customer service to match the price, they denied there was any record of it in their system, and gave me varying prices (that they said I'd got online) of between £535 and £585 (Not £609 or £509) - They passed me from department to department who then wanted to put me back to the department I'd just spoken to. Frustratingly bad customer servic ...

On the 3rd of June I had an accident on my way to work, I had stopped at a roundabout and was waiting for a car to pass, I was then hit at the rear of my car with some force. I was shocked as I have never been in a accident before, we exchanged details and that was that. I rang my insurance and told them what had happened and they said the following. We will send you a replacement vehicle this is through a hire car company called Drive Assist they will ring you, you will then be contacted by a A ...

Bought yes insurance online. Took them 9 days to post out certificate that would allow me to get road tax. Had to cancel after 5 days waiting. Took out policy with admiral instead and got certificate next day, even before the ones from Yes Insurance.

I have just spent 4 weeks sorting a mistake out with Yes Insurance that has ultimately cost me in excess of £200, more than I saved going with them in the first place.

I insured my car with Yes Insurance and had no hassles. Free telephone number for assistance. However the renewal quote for this year was more than I paid previously though no changes to my details. I rang them with details of several quotes that were cheaper and they weren't interested.

Cheap, as long as you don't need to change your cover...adding business mileage was going to more than double my policy! Suffice to say, I chose public transport.
