Good Points: Looks good. When working, it works very well, easy to operate via the remote - well as easy as any other of these machines.
Bad Points: Manual has incorrect set up data for the antenna. There is no facility to renumber the channels, so what Grundig says is what you get. For instance if you are used to 7 being 7 and SBS being 1, on this 7 = 6 or 60 for HD. SBS is 3 or 30. This makes it necessary to keep a chart if you have other equipment. The manual is very skimpy compared to the German manual for my other Grundig appliance and has very little detail compared to my Sony DVD recorder.
General comments: The whole experience so far has been hit & miss. It took me 2 weeks and at least 10 phone calls to the Grundig/Bush helpline to get it running and to sort out that my connections (although as per the manual) were incorrect. Not everyone at Grundig knew this. Then when the set failed a week later, it took over two weeks to send out another set. I had to call them again to get them to send the remote back. Now the new set doesn't work and shows there is no antennae connexion even though all the other equipment runs through it first. The TV will work and the DVD recorder will work, but not the set-top box.
I shall be pressing the retailer to take it all back and give me a refund. I cannot handle this aggravation. I have owned this equipment for 6 weeks and it has never functioned correctly.
