    Good Points: Accurate, hard hitting and good price.


    Bad Points: Lot of plastics.
    Hopefully it will last.


    General comments: Winchester Model 1000SB is an excellent rifle for the money.
    Good scope.

    Shoots accurate and very, very hard!

    Gun is hard to cock. But can be done It ' s a lot louder than the Cross man 77 I replaced. This gun shoots exactly where you put the cross hairs. A little expensive but worth the money.

    First off, the versions: The Winchester 1000 comes in "B", "x", and with or without "s". B is black; x is wood; s is scoped. The 1000SB, therefore, is the black synthetic stock version, with the scope (combo).

    For the price, the Winchester 1000 (W1K) packs a good punch. It is hard to cock and has a heavy recoil, which -- combined with mediocre accuracy -- can affect overall performance. Within 20m., the W1K can handle pests with ease. Pellets are spit out hard and fast enough to dispatch ...
