I was a bit scared after reading the reviews bout think money but I have not had any problems since joining i know I can get a call back if needed thought Facebook or Twitter even if it's a long wait My only moan is the online log in bit confusing for me but apart from that no problems and I know my bills are secure and dontn go o t t with me money now Customer service is ok even waiting and go that extra mile to help

Think money is a different bank but slow on clearing cheques etc.i have previously got in a real mess with lloyds bank and massive charges for missed direct debits etc about £250 per month .the great thing about think is you get a flat fee of 14 quid and if you havent enough money to cover direct debits and standing orders they dont pay them but also do not fine you.when you have money they will make the payments.i'm self employed so my income is intermittant , this account is ideal and has saved me thousands and repaired my credit histoy.some places the card wont work and you should check ur balance before making card paymens but other than that its a great financial management tool

I've been with TM now for 2 years and always been happy with service etc., recently the wait times on the phone have been unacceptable. However, my main gripe is the card - my original card was a nice black one that actually looked like an M&S card - unfortunately it was cloned and therefore I had to change it - a chavvy bordering on offensive yellow card turned up that just looks cheap and nasty. I've asked for it to be changed and apparently yellow is the current colour. Please reconsider - it's an embarrassment to use and lets you down. Im still giving you a good star mark as overall I'm happy with the bank just please re-issue these cards to something more acceptable!

We agree that of late call wait times have crept up and are not of the standard that you, and we, would expect. We’re working hard to reduce call wait times as we know this is vital for customers. We’re busy adding new staff members to our team to ensure that we can offer a service level that you (and we) are happy with. Generally you should be able to get through very quickly outside peak hours – our quieter periods are weekdays after 10am and before 5pm and on Saturday afternoons. To make life easier for customers we do offer a number of ways other than the phone that you can get in touch with us – even if it is just to request a call back. As you rightly say this includes Twitter and Facebook communication (during the working day). You can also text us with CHANGE followed by any changes you need to make to your account (or to request a call). Of course, you can also manage your account round the clock via Online Account Management. This service enables you to do almost everything that you can do on the phone.
We took the decision to produce a brighter card after conducting market research amongst our customers. I am sorry that it isn’t to your taste.

I couldn't do without my thinkmoney bank account - it's everything I need: they sort-of split your account into 2 separate parts in order that money for your bills is set aside and money available to spend is available via the usual bank card. This is vital to me to ensure my bills get paid when they're meant to! I hate managing money, so this is something that I welcome being done for me. I find the majority of the staff very helpful and friendly, and the texting service is excellent. The areas I think could be improved are the call waiting times on the phone lines (although it's worth the wait to speak to someone in the UK!), and the computer system needs to be made more robust, as there have been several occasions when my pay has gone into my account but has not been transferred over straight away to my 'card account' for spending (this was widely covered in the news when it happened). Overall I am very happy with my actual bank account.

Cant believe i have found someone else who agrees with me! This bank has given me no problems whatsoever and unless things slip significantly, i will stay with them. Text services work fine, whenever i have contacted them they have been helpful and done everything i have asked them to do!

I was wary about this bank because it wasn't a high street bank I thought things would work differently. The fact that at first you get asked for the exact amount your wages will be which I didn't really like and I initially felt very harassed by the 'money managers' as my first wages wasn't due for a whole month, they were almost hassling me for my own money asking me when it will be going on and sending me texts asking If i have forgotten about my account. But once my first wages had gone in and I seen how easy breezy everything went i was fine.. Good bank! Ive been left alone now my wages is going in regularly and ther'ye receiving their £14.50 management fee. I think this bank could be improved a bit my introducing mobile app for smartphones, androids and iphones as i find it very convenient being able to just open an app on my phone type in a passcode and see my balance anytime anywhere!

Have been with the bank for over twelve months now and have found that when contacting them by phone or text/email their staff have been helpful and dealt with my request in a friendly way in order to resolve my enquirey. Although the majority of banks nowadays seem to have a poor reputation, I would certainly recommend this bank to other people.

I am very pleased with my account It is convenient to use, with options of internet and phone banking, The staff have always been very efficient in sorting out my queries,requests and transfers, my bills get paid on time, no need for me to worry about them, my budgeting is easily sorted, with easy to us online facility, and adjustments can be made for unexpected bills. and best of all NO BANK CHARGES. for a very small admin fee both my partner and I can rebuild our credit status.

I am very please for you but my tale is very different not only do I have to pay £14.50 management fee but they take 8 DAYS yes a full 8 DAYS to clear a cheque moving as soon as possible absolute rubbish , one more thing 18 mins 43 seconds today for a money manager to answer how much money has that cost me and how much money have they made off this call RUBBISH RUBBISH RUBBISH do not touch with a barge pole !!!!

I have had no complaints regarding the helpfulness of staff whenever I have contacted think money on the phone and they have always been polite and have done everything to assist me in my enquiries. My only comment is that I have previously been offered a credit facility over the phone and by yet and email which I have never needed until this lat month - I applied for the facility on line as I am experiencing one it two difficulties until I get paid at the end if this month - and I was refused the facility - I find this absurd when I have been offered it previously - now my salary is bigger and regular than it was before and yet I was refused this help. Other than this Hiwever I have always been really happy with the service provided by think money.

Very good service, but I'm a little worried that I seem to have 2 accounts running! Could you please send me a reminder of the correct details, as I will need to notify the DWP before next week. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback.
There's nothing to worry about. The thinkmoney Personal Account works by separating your income into two accounts to make sure all your bills are paid on time. When you get paid, we take the money you need for bills and put it into a 'Salaries' account. You can't spend this money, so there's no chance of missing a payment. The rest of your money is placed in a 'Card' account. You can spend this money however you like using your thinkmoney Debit MasterCard.
If you want to set up a Direct Debit, then you'd need to use the account number from your 'Salaries' Account. Alternatively, pop us an email, with your reference number on and we'll give you a call to get this set up.

Very good response to my query off unauthorised with drawl all sorted out within 24hrs and money back in my account card cancelled and new one received within 3 days as for the banking side of it brilliant wished i had heard of them years ago bills all paid and you know what you have left to spend no going overdrawn

Excellent service for £14.50 a month. Money managers are friendly and helpfull. The only down side is my account was upgraded which they said would enable me to have £200 loan if I needed. When you apply they tell you no. I have tried 2-3 times and had the same answer so I might as well of stayed as I was.that is the only down side.

I have been with ThinkMoney / Banking for about 18 months & have been very impressed with the service that i receive. I would definitely recommend thinkmoney to anybody, the range of services from a bank account to insurance seem pretty good to me & as i say i would thoroughly recommend Thinkmoney/banking to friends & family. Setting up the bank account was pretty well hassle free. My only criticism is that it takes too long for cash to clear into my account if not paid directly into an RBS bank/branch. Unfortunately there is not an RBS branch close to my workplace, so if i am paying cash back into my account i use a Nat West branch. This i do understand is useful & helpful to be able to use Nat West to pay money into my RBS account. However, it takes three to four days for the cash to clear which i think nowadays with automation the norm, far too long. Aprt from that criticism i am extremely happy with thinkmoney/banking.

I am very pleased with this account. It means I can budget without going overdrawn and know that all my bills are paid and I have money to spend without worrying. I like the fact I can call and set up my direct debits and speak to a person rather than a machine ! My only gripes are that cheques take 10 working days... :O ! You can't see your balance at a cash machine, the card does not always work in certain cash machines, and that when setting up dd's online you cannot always find the name of the company that you want so it means you have to call them. Otherwise, great !

Thie way the account operates maks life very simple and I could not be happier. I have always struggled with budgeting, but think money makes this easier and I never mis payments. I would live to see a think money saving account as this would enable me to filter extra money off and save

Thinkmoney was originally set up for me when I joined a debt management program and they seem to tie in together and be pretty much on the ball with what is going on. It is one account but with two accounts which is a salaries account and card account. It is not confusing so here goes. You get paid your wages on a certain day every month and as long as you have set up the agreed fees with your debt management company and also your other bills ie electric water gas internet phone TV and council tax all these will be put into your salaries account lets say for instant £400.00 is the sum total of your bills so say £200.00 is for debt management and they do the work for you and pay each creditor a percentage from the £200.00 and the rest is your household bills lets say £200.00 for the rest you will never miss a payment as the salaries account hold all your bills so say you earn £1200.00 per month take away £400.00 that is held instantly and cannot be touched the rest of your salary is yours which is on your card account. And that is it, there is no overdraft or loans or credit cards on this account and what you earn is yours apart from your salaries account. It is that simple.

Account is very easy to use. The text banking is the best. Every time I have rang them the staff have been polite and will do everythingthey can to help. Using the account means no chance of going overdrawn and getting ridiculous charges. I would have liked a savings account linked uo too but they don't do them. I think they are missing out on a lot of custom because of this hencethe 4 stars and not 5.

The lady who I spoke too was fantastic. She helped me with my enquiry and gave me advice I needed about a transaction. There is few things that I would like to be changed which is the wait time till you can speak to an advisor. The other thing is as you are based in Manchester there should be an 0161 local number for you as 08444 is very expensive to ring of like me you don't have a landline only a mobile. It is very expensive from my mobile and I only ring you if I really have too.

I think the people at think money are all great,you phone up with a problem and it is sorted there and then,no I'll go ask someone the person you speak to has the answer for you straight away,I would have no hesitation in recommending a friend I have already recommended my daughter.
