Good Points: Is easy to set up on the whole, price is very competitive compared to most new rifles. Butt plate has good adjustment rifle is generally quite nice (a lot better quality than the smaller s200, i have also noticed) good weight for the majority.
Bad Points: Setting up the trigger for the more serious marksmen does take a while. Even then, it doesn't meet the same quality as the Feinwerkbaus. The screws do have a tendency to come loose easily, although this can be overcome by using 'locknut'. The sights that come with it are not as the same quality as the rifle and don't cut it if you want to take up a more serious approach. can be overcome though by imply buying some more. eg 'centra' - will cost though...
General comments: Air Arms MPR Multi Purpose Rifle is a really good buy for a newer shooter and indeed is very well priced. It can be bought in right or left handed, although there is only a small difference in the grip, to make the hand fit better. Don't think there is a difference in price for the two which is good, because left handed rifle can cost more sometimes. Generally this is a very good rifle! Only a few issues, which only really start to occur when you reach a higher level of shooting. Although I've said i wouldn't recommend this to a friend, if you are a first time buyer or a new shooter, it is a great buy. For the more experienced, maybe look at a used Feinwerkbau or Anchutz? they will be around the same as an air arms if not less. I've been very pleased with mine though and it has been a great buy...
