A similar experience to others. Paid good money for nothing. Travelled to Brighton to be shown the take off location but told it was a no go for that day (fair enough but what had changed so drastically in the hour it took me to get there, think they could have just said not today). Went to a cafe where we had a group chat for an hour, got a couple of things ticked in my log book and listened to the lead teacher massage his own ego for the rest of the time. Was back in the car by one o'clock but charged a full days training which I think was about £150 and hadn't even got my wing out of the bag, no ground handling practice suggested either. I wrote to the BHPA who agreed that it was unreasonable but they understandably couldn't do anything about it.. No refund or concessions offered. Totally different ethos to the 3 other flying schools I have trained with. Would recommend searching further than fly bubble to get a really enjoyable and gratifying experience with genuine instructors.

I was bought a voucher for Flybubble as a present, but I didn't use it in time so they sold my an extension to the voucher for an extra £25 for 3 months. In that 3 months I made 8 seperate bookings - all of which were cancelled due to weather. After 8 cancellations I was told my voucher was expired!! Unbelievable. And they would not budge. I was told could pay another £25 for another extension. Whilst I do not expect them to fly when it's not safe, I do expect them to be reasonable, and to cancel 8 bookings and then say the voucher is expired seems to me entirely unreasonable.

I have used Flybubble for training and bought equipment from them and have found them exceptionally good. The only frustrating thing is the weather which they can hardly be blamed for. However, I would rather someone had the guts to say the conditions were not right rather than be influenced by the customer and risk having a nasty accident.
Flybubble are a very professional outfit and you can be sure that they have your safety and time in mind.

I was bought a tandem experience by my girlfriend for my birthday, and we booked a hotel close to the launch site and made a weekend of it. We called Flybubble the night before for the weather check, and we were told we had called too early and to call back between a certain time. We went out to get a pizza and called back after, to be told we were 5 minutes late (They apparently keep a very strict schedule)!
Anyway, the weather was going to be fine as far as they could tell, and we had to call back in the morning. We got up and called again to check the weather, and we were still on.
We were pretty excited and managed to find the place with the directions.
There were 7 - 10 people waiting at the launch site, and two Flybubble guys. We chatted to the other people who had been told currently the winds are not strong enough. Two minutes later the Flybubble guys came over and tell us the winds are too strong! I know weather can change quickly, but we were gutted. We asked if we could get the voucher extended, and the guy was very short, saying we had had plenty of time!
So we were told to go home and try again another day (I live 6 hours away from the launch site)!
They have no customer service. When I tried to sell my voucher because I couldn't stomach the 6 hour drive again, they refused to transfer it.
