    We bought a NAVMAN S70 as we moved to Italy with my job. Initially we were happy with it although it had a 'moment' in France that required the application of driver commonsense. However, it recently went wrong and would only work in Danish and now not at all and here starts the problem. NAVMANs after sales site is terrible. The phone number has a message giving you a new number which is foreign and never gets answered. The e-mail 'contact us' do not work and the only ones that do provide an automated response telling you to use their customer service e-mail, which doesn't work so round you go again. Initially happy but the sadly all to usual after sales service lets it down, my advice look elsewhere just in case your SatNav goes wrong.

    Just bought a Navman S70 to travel to Spain through France. Although it is extremly easy to use and was very accurate in UK in France halfway down, I had to change motorways. It told me to come off the motorway the junction before I should and even when I found the right road, it kept telling me to turn around. I turned it off in the end. In Spain I tried it on a road I knew well which went directly to one town, it kept telling me to do a U turn. I kept on going with it and just before the town ...

    The Navman S70 is excellent in UK and I found it to be accurate. However I bought it to travel through France and Spain.
    It worked well to Paris and brought me safely out the other side, then it went wrong. It took me off the motorway I was on and I presumed there was a better route so I took it's advice. It then took me off this road onto a farm lane and I got totally lost.

    Do not buy this item if you want a good value for money tool. It often freezes and is particualry slow to repsond to any movement unless travelling at 70 mph.

    The Navman S70 is the best sat nav I have used, it was so simple I picked it up from the shop took it straight out of the box and then used it to take me 120 miles to london and then back again, so easy to use I didn't even need to use the instruction manual just put in the postcode and it took me straight there. I would recomend this Sat Nav to everyone.

    Navman S70 is a very good gps sat nav. If they had a better refresh-rate this S-70 would concur the throne!
    The good features are ease of use. Good at finding the best route. Logic. Great map design. Easy to overview. You can block unwanted roads. The voice guidance is very good and logical. Many options. Clear and bright screen. VERY good sound quality.

    The Navman S70 is great product for the money, all I need in a sat nav. Great 4.3' screen and very clear, bluetooth great added bonus.
