“Ripped off”

Brought water pump,cam belt kit and head gasket,sent the water pump and cam belt kit back in the same packaging, then I realised that they had sent me the wrong head gasket so had to send that back seperate, was refunded for the gasket and water pump on the same day,but haven't been refunded for the cam belt kit,when I emailed them they said they hadn't received it, funny that because they received the water pump which was in the same box, total idiots I'm still trying to get my £97 back... This is not a review ref parts etc but more along the lines of the calibre of managers they have, which would probably explain the bad service. I applied for a job at Lincoln branch and was told I would be informed within a week if I got the job or not, well 3 weeks have gone by now and no contact. I had a bad experince with eurocar calling to, the atendend couldnt understand what i was looking for, it was just couple boxes of stop tail bulbs, he just hang up the phone and when i try ring back just put in hold. After that decide look for other company, eurocar is not the only one.

Parts were incorrect and missing some of the order after waiting over 3 weeks. NO customer support agent online is worthy of that title they are very unhelpful and ignorant. Wont allow returns even though THEY supplied the wrong parts. I am still waiting for a resolution after 1 month they still have my money and wont refund...I think I will be knocking on trading standards door and would warn others to be wary. Placed an in stock order for £250 pounds plus next day delivery, day off. 4:10pm on delivery day I chased up and told courier had delayed the order, someone was to call me back, never did. 4:50pm called back and told will be with me by 7pm. Ordered an exhaust system at what looked a good price. Site said all was in stock so I paid extra for next day delivery. The items were marked as despatched the next morning but they did not turn up. Waited all day next day and still nothing so rang at 4pm. Was told all the items were OUT OF STOCK and had not even been despatched. I cancelled the order and demanded my refund. I ordered my part on the phone and waited a week. I needed it fairly urgently and so waited on the customer service phone line for over 50 minutes. When I finally got through I was told firstly that my card had been declined, when I asked why they hadn't called me she said they had and left a message, I don't have voicemail on my phone. bought a wiper blade and gave number reg , couldnt get right part for the car . took back and at same time bougt back box and oil filter for my car . after taking the old back box off found out back box supplied slightly shorter therefore wont fit and the oil filter supplied not even the right one. I should have known better, but I ordered a cheap pollen filter (£8), it arrived next day, but when I removed it from the box the filter was distorted and wouldn't fully cover the aperture - faulty manufacture. I have used Euro Car Parts in the past, but I avoid them if at all possible now. If you see something on line they stock and you go into a branch they will try to charge you more unless you bring to their attention. I also suspect they put low quality parts in good brand boxes - unacceptable. My experience has been unhelpful staff who will tell you any rubbish to get you to buy. I'd rather go to a reputable motor factors anytime in preference, but Euro Car Parts marketing is clever. (read more)

Tried to call the helpline the don’t even answer! ordered a new headlamp 3 weeks ago still haven’t received it! “BAD FOR ALL ELECTRICAL PARTS”

I brought an EGR valve for a vectra 2007. Got it fitted and as soon as I left the garage the car started jerking in all gears. Took it back and mechanic said its a cheap faulty egr. Since writing that review I've done some research and found these:

And...


"Returning faulty goods

The Distance Selling Regulations are in addition to your other legal rights.

So, if your goods are faulty and don’t do what they're supposed to, or don’t match the description given, you have the same rights under the Sale of Goods Act as you have when buying face to face.

Any terms and conditions that say you must cover the cost of returning an item wouldn’t apply where the goods being returned are faulty."

So ask them to take them back under the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) and if they refuse, report them to trading standards and if necessary request a Visa/Mastercard chargeback from your credit card firm.

Copy of email sent to web orders. I'm very disappointed that the order was incomplete. Even more disappointed that when it was established the error was due to the warehouse mistake I still haven't received the rest of my order, even though it was supposed to have been dispatched for next day delivery, it's now ended up more expensive using your service than buying from other retailers. I had the same experience. Part missing from my order but they don't believe me as their computer says it went out to me. After 2 emails that were completely ignored, 4 phone calls and 3 promises to send it out to me, I still have had no delivery. The customer service is utterly disgraceful. They couldn't care less. I am still trying to get a refund for a part I never had, So far this has taken over two weeks and I'm not very optimistic that it'll be settled soon either.
AVOID THESE CLOWNS AT ALL COSTS!!!
They're ok when things are going well but soon show their colours when they make a mistake.
USE ANOTHER SUPPLIER. There are plenty out there.

Ordered a clutch, they sent us the wrong clutch 3 times! When we eventually got the right clutch, we discovered that they had charged us for all of them. Went to branch in Peterborough and found the staff and management rude and aggressive. They are now in the process of trying to take us to court! “poor service from a poor wirral branch”

I ordered parts for my lets say old nissian micra only too find the pads i ordered where the wrong ones after they got the sizes wrong after trying too get my money back by calling i was led along for weeks and weeks they are only bothered once you have handed money over you see them with there smug looks and suits on some of them don't have a clue and this suppose too be a new branch i wirral wouldnt send a cat there next time never going back. I ordered a battery and received the wrong one. I Emailed euro car parts twice and was ignored. I went to the local branch only to be told that they don't accept returns for online orders, even though it states on their website that they do. Went onto online chat and was told I needed to call them. I called customer service only to be told to take it back to the shop. I took it back to the shop and they told me to call customer service. “Next Day Delivery not to be trusted.”

Let me down offering Next Day Delivery and then not even informing me they had no intention of delivering the next day! If you're in business, give them a miss, typical immigrant sellers, you might as well buy on eBay cheaper! There's a lot of better people to choose from online. (read more)
