    Good Points: recoil is very managble and the power is good for starter/ close range hunter.


    Bad Points: the screws holding the action int he stock can come a bit losse so pulling the trigger can move the action a litte but it just needs tighting up every now and again.


    General comments: SMK XS17 is a very good value air gun asembled in china the checked over in the uk it was suprisingly good. i got mine for chritmas 08 and have enjoyed shooting it. with about 9 ft,lbs in .177 it is powerfull enought for close range pigeonins crows rays ect. resonabley acurat but deseves a scope i chose a sabre accent 4x32 and it is pinpoint accurate. recoil is good and very manageable overall a very good starter or close range hunter.
