I think the IPOD nano is a lovely little device. Very cute and handy. I did have trouble working it at first. MAybe that was just me. It has a sleek look. And once you can use it, it is great. I think they are a great invention.
The only draw back I have with the Ipod Nano, is that the screen is ver susceptible to damages. So if you do get one, get a cover to protect it. I must add here, make sure you get a good cover. Someone bought one for me, but it does not protect the screen. Hence alot of the right hand side of my screen has now gone black. So I am quite gutted about that.
I have even managed to hook mine up to my car radio system. So its fab

I have had my Ipod Nano 3rd Gen 8gb for 14 months. It is in its third life, having been repaired (replaced, actually twice) and is now "freezing up" again. Clearly there is too much crammed into the space for it all to be reliable. I was at an independent repairer and they told me on the QT that they'd had a lot of nano 3gs back.- Read tony parry's review (84 words)

iPod nano seems to be just a fad. It has the new features it boast aside from the gigs added but for a pro user of iPod and other media gadgets the advertisement is just appears a bit overrated. Probably the advertisers might have overdone the grafix thing on the media ads but the real work is on the palm of your hand. Good upgrade but not necessarily that amazing in a sense. The screen might as well be the best improvement for the thing but you don't have to look at the screen all the time, its ...- Read junelmiller's review (162 words)

Was really infuriated and disgusted with this Apple iPod nano v2 8GB. I foolishly made the assumption that an upgrade improves a product, not reduces its' functionality. It has limited use with any of my gadgets-it won't charge on my ipod speakers or wall adapter- and because it runs low on battery all the time, it means you have to be close to a computer to reboot. Not great for travel. What I loved about my old Nano was the fact that I could travel anywhere with it and long car journeys we ...- Read Guest's review (210 words)

Tactile, tiny and inexpensive.
Packaged headphones are nasty. Sound just about OK with decent set of Sennheisers.
As a portable personal music player the Apple ipod v3 nano 8g is OK.- Read gslack's review (31 words)

Apple is great at putting out beautiful electronics. The nano 8GB is no exception. However, they really need to figure out the multitude of software and other interface (w/ itunes) problems. The interesting thing I found is it that quality and problems can vary dramatically between one ipod to the next, it's like a gamble. Their customer service and repair process also needs a major overhaul in my opinion. Love apple design but really starting to hate the support service.- Read Buzzsaw's review (92 words)

The ipod nano has a great colour screen which allows you to watch videos on the go!!:D It also has a great slim design and is extremely light weight. Battery life isn't the best in the world and the limited volume restriction in rather annoying! Overall, a great gadget, fab gift and a must have accessory!- Read jackie bee's review (57 words)

Ipod nano 3rd generation
Well I got my first apple product and I can@t decide if I like the thing or not. I love the amount of features on this tiny media device, it's literally smaller than a credit card. The latest 3rd gen nano is capable of playing mp3's, storing up to 8 hours of video footage (encoded in mp4 format). It will also hold thousands of photos, even presents them as a slide show set to music of your choice. Additionally, It will store text notes with a 4Kb limit each. It plays ...- Read mark lucas's review (734 words)

I was pleased when i first got my iPod nano, and that was about a year ago and i still am pleased, i think its a good product and apple have got it right, there are many colours available i have pink and skins and protectors so then not everyone has the same ipod as you so you can be an "individual" i would recommend though buying a separate pair of earphones than using the ones that come with the iPod as they aren't the best i have ever used and they broke after a few months, this happened to a ...- Read miss claire's review (171 words)

I had the first generation of iPod nano's years ago and they have improved so much. The design is a lot better being smaller lighter and fit's in the palm of your hand.
I would suggest as soon as you buy one of these you also buy a protective case, I didn't know I was getting one for Christmas and within a week of having it, it has the tiniest scratch on the screen. I bought a screen protector off ebay but the scratch still bugs me because I know it's there!
Anyway! The sound quality is perfe ...- Read hyperjen's review (218 words)
