I bought my iTouch about 2 years ago, and I really did think it was great. It had all the functions of an iPhone, minus the ability to send a receive calls. I used to use it everyday, to listen to music, play games, wake me up, or just to note down things I needed to do. But then something tragic happened. I decided to charge it (as you do) and the screen turned white. As yet I have still not managed to get it fixed, as Apple have decided to charge me £100 for this service. The iTouch is... (read more)

iPod Touch (3rd generation)
The iPod Touch is really cool, here are reasons why it's entertaining. One, while you're listening to music it's super clear. The iPod Touch has lots of fun games, some (not a lot) you have to pay, but not all of them. You have to pay for all the music. Depending on the gigabytes, you can download as many apps as you want. The iPod Touch is so fun!

When I purchased my I-Pod Touch for Christmas I was excited to have a new mp3 player that I could connect to the internet with and enjoy the vast list of applications to preoccupy my time with if I got bored. I found it to be a fun gadget but with some annoying issues.
Firstly the positives.
1) Touch screen interface is beautifully smooth and fun.
2) Internet works very well and viewing pages has never been easier with a simple zoom and scroll function.
3) Thousands of applications...

I got my iPod touch about 5 weeks ago and was very happy. As the price was quite high (I bought on the Apple store online), I thought the quality to be good.
However, yesterday I spilled some water over it and it stopped working.
I was in shattered, in tears.
I called Apple and they said the fix would cost 80GBP, a discounted rate but still half the price of a new one.
I am so sad because now I can see that the high price I paid was only for the brand/Marketing of the company :(.

I purchased the 3rd generation iPod touch on new years eve, for £209.00 from amazon. This was an Update to replace my first generation iPod touch.
Well what can I say, Apple always make out standing devices; some of them do come at a price to pay. The 3rd generation iPod touch is twice as fast as the 1st and 2nd generations. If you do update from the 1st/2nd generation you will notice a huge speed increase.
When 4.0 is released the 3rd generation iPod touch will really shine. It will...

3rd generation ipod touches are quite different depending on the capacity. The 8gb version has exactly the same hardware as the 2nd generation and is therefore the same as the 8gb 2nd generation ipod touch. However, the 32gb and 64gb version have different hardware and Apple says that they can be up to 50% faster. My 32gb model is fast, attractive and a great investment. My only real issue is that it needs to be in a WiFi zone to use the internet and lots of apps. Therefore, apps such as... (read more)

The iPod Touch is a really cool device and I think that it is very worthy for the money that one pays for it! Also, the device has several nice features like Wifi and internet and it continues to deliver really good music output! The clarity of songs and videos in this device is really outstanding. Also, the 32 GB version is the best as it can hold a lot of data and the 64 GB model is also good! It is a must have gadget for any geek! (read more)

This is an extraordinary piece of kit. There are so many things you can do on it. Right now I am writing my review from it! The Internet connection is great and very fast, although you have to be near a wireless router around the house. The apps you get with it are also excellent although you do have to pay for most of the good ones and you generally only get demo versions for free but there are some bargains! The screen is a good size and the keyboard is well calibrated. The video quality... (read more)

It's small, it's sleek and once you've got one you'll wonder how you ever managed without it. Music, Video, Email, the Internet are all only a button away (if you've got wi-fi handy) but the best thing of all are the Apps. Believe me whatever you want there's virtually an App for it. Infact the itouch is a minor miracle of the modern age. Books, Television, Games, Weather Reports, Stock Market updates the uses are endless. I got one over ten months ago and I'm still it using everyday.
Best...

Like many of the other "i" products, this Apple iPod Touch 64GB is a combination of a few technological advances plus a great user interface. I actually bought this to act as an additional controller for a Sonos music system, but have found it great as a portable music player, and as a handheld games console for the kids. Battery life not as great as it could be.... (read more)

Although the Apple I-pod Touch seems like it is something out of a new Sci-fi film- it still manages to get you addicted. My mother- who is out of touch (to say the least) with technology, recently got one and loves it! It's all about getting to know it, and to love it.

The Apple iPod Touch Sound quality is great when listening on an ipod dock or my cambridge soundworks 5.1 speakers but when playing through a large PA system, if you are being very, very fusy, it sounds slightly lower quality. It isn't like a nano were you can just throw it in your pocket or drop it without worrying about it getting damaged. This is definately a great MP4 Player. I would recommend it to anyone however, if you would like an MP3 player for pure sound quality, I would consider... (read more)

Yes, the iPod Touch is an outstanding and an absolutely gorgeous product. I mean, I've been using MP3-Players from the very beginning, and I can't remember any, which were that functional.
Basically you can almost completely customize your iPod and adopt it depending on your personal needs. I mean it's got Wi-Fi, tons of games available on iTunes etc.pp. To get straight to the point: There is only one iPod Touch ... when it comes to functionality.
It's like in the good ol days with our...

iPod Touch
From the moment of watching the Keynote when the iPod was released I knew I had to get one. I have been an Apple fan for quite some time but never bought an iPod before due to the price tag. But, I couldn't resist the iPod Touch.
Basic Features -
The iPod Touch has a battery life of around 22 hours (Music). Be aware this is with the Wi-Fi Option turned off. Even having the Wi-Fi turned on but not connected uses power.
The video playback time is around 5 Hours although I have...

I purchased the 16Gb iPod Touch recently to replace my Ipod Mini. This could possibly be the greatest gadget ever! I've never used a touch screen that is so natural to use and doesnt induce frustration. When encoded properly video is incredible and can be watched for long periods without eye strain.
Audio is similarly well catered for, album art and great menus make navigating your albums a delight. The Classic may have the better storage but not the fun factor of the Touch, other mp3 player...

I was given the Apple iPod Touch 8GB model as a birthday gift thinking I would never use it, but gave it a go and now couldn't like without it.
The WiFi is reliable, and screen gives clear, crisp quality - Very useful to use as a portable movie viewer or replays of BBC programmes on their iPlayer which is specially adapted for the iTouch.
Buy this along with the Bose SoundDock and throw away your 1990's style stereo.

I first got my iPod Touch 8GB on a spending splurge through my catalogue 'I was bored of my iPod Nano, and I am a gadget freak so I simply HAD to have this. It was and still is a little pricey, but with Apple you get a very slick design which always looks nice, all hail Steve Jobs our benevolent dictator!
The UI is simply marvellous, it makes selecting which album to play a joy, even now people glance over and see what that strange pad you are touching is. The sound quality is lovely with...

I've been a long term apple agnostic... but even I have to admit this is pretty special. I was finally convinced that this, my 6th MP3 player, was the way forward when I realised it replaced my sadly outdated and outclassed Palm at the same time.
As an MP3 player, it gets 8 or 9/10... the sound (admittedly through some pretty special earbuds) is clean, clear, crisp and lively. The interface makes it very easy to scroll through my music. This 1st gen version lacks a hardware volume button,...

I first used Apple iPod Touch in currys digital and thought it was brilliant. It is extremely fast when accessing the net and so easy to use that anyone could pick it up. The only downside I would say is that to type url address and stuff on the touch pad is quite difficult at first as its so small but you do get used to it after practice. I really like my Apple iTouch and have even told my brother to get one for his birthday! (read more)

I bought the Apple iPod Touch 8gb to replace my existing mp3/mp4 player (Archos 604) when it finally died. I was at first sceptical about the price and the value I would receive for such a large price tag (around the 200 pound mark). Although it has about 22gb less storage than my last player (30gb) it more than makes up for in features. The GUI (graphical User Interface) is clean and easy to use and to the contrary of popular belief the onscreen keyboard is very easy to use. The wireless... (read more)

I found this review not helpful because... The user has broken their Ipod Touch by spilling water onto it. - It is not waterproof! You break it you pay for the repair!
<br/>
<br/>You paid for an Ipod Touch which is what you got, and seems you were happy with.
<br/>
<br/>What you didn't do is pay for insurance, your loss. People ignore this 1 star rating!
