i really loved my ipod classic when i just got it. However, after a few months it refused to play some songs (at random; files werent corrupted) and froze. One morning, suddenly it decided to say that there was "No Music" in it. I restored it, hoping that it would solve the problem. Wrong. I cant add songs to it, I cant use it as an external HD (it won't copy) and now it's just a useless piece of an expensive machine.

Its a very good ipod, & definitely worth the money, i never had any problems with my first one but it got stolen. it has a nice feel to it along with a nice touch. it has a very sleek design. pretty good if you dont have any problems. but if you do like i did, you get very frustrated.

my first one i had no problems, but my second one, after i watched a video for about the 3rd time a little green pixel was towards the top of the screen & got VERY annoying, no matter how hard i tried it wouldn't ...

Large memory, good battery life, nice display screen, easy to use, light, cover art , games , and video, good sun quality, looks good.
In my opinion, Ipods are Ipods and while expensive they are definitely worth it. I am yet to use an Mp3 player other than an Ipod that I am satisfied with and I have used quite a few.

When I first bought my iPod Classic I was half pleased and half disappointed. The player has everything I needed and the Capacity (80GB) was perfect for me.However as I was listening to my iPod I found that certain tracks were skipping to the next track or part of the song. I was very annoyed by this and at one point thought about taking the iPod back. However I found that if you right click the track in iTunes that is causing a problem and choose convert to... then it plays fine on the iPod.I wo ...

The latest I pod classic is an 80GB masterpiece with a wonderful interface and sexy design. The new I-Tunes designed for this model is wonderful to use also and offers a marvelous array of functions for the user. Not only does this model of ipod offer music and video playback but also gives you the ability to purchase and download new games and applications! An superb iPod and amazing value for money! A must buy music player to store your entire library on, and plays movies great as well. Also, new search feature lets you find music easily, and the new split screen menus makes great use of your album art.

The battery completely died after 2 weeks, and the problem could not be solved using the troubleshooting guide. When speaking to others I realised how often people have problems with the battery on the Apple iPod, but they usually resolve it. It is amazing how Apple are still having this problem.

Even if you take very good care of the Apple iPod it breaks very easily.
They cannot be exposed to any temperature extremes or the screens cracked.
Such damage in Australia is not covered by any warranty.
I was told that I must have dropped my Ipod but I did not.
I have heard of other people having this happen.
Just someone told me that their brothers iPod broke the day after he bought it.
I was told by the Apple repair centre that the screen could not be fixed and would have to buy a whole new ...
