I listened to On The Edge: My Story by Richard Hammond because I'm too lazy to read and it was awesome. Actually hearing them both tell the story was fabulous. It was so nice to hear both sides- a must read/listen

I would recommend the book Richard Hammond, On The Edge: My Story to any richard hammond and top gear fans. The first pages are brillient. I love richard hammond in this book it is really about his crash and his recovery. But i felt the first hundred pages where exalent he explains his journey to top gear.- Read eddie07's review (79 words)

Fantastic read, good to hear richard and mindy's side to the story and the pictures are brilliant. Read it slowly or it'll be over before you know it. I'll recomend it to anyone without hesitating.

I loved the book - I liked how we get to hear Mindy's and the Hamster's side of the story. A really gripping and emotional read (yes, i did cry once or twice). Remember to read the book slooooooooowly because otherwise you will find yourself annoyed with yourself for not making it last when its finished! Read it - any hammond-fan/topgear-fan/normal person will love it! Providing you can read =]- Read Guest's review (71 words)

Richard Hammond, On The Edge: My Story by Richard Hammond is a very good book and I recommend it to everyone. I really enjoyed this book because it didn't have just his side of the story it had his wifes Mindys side and how she coped with the children, Richard and the media. In the first few chapters he tells us how he got on top gear and his previous jobs and about his "adreneline" filled childhood and teenage years. In one of the chapters he tells us about the had the accident and there are p ...- Read Guest's review (161 words)

A brilliant book, it brought me into the reading world before this I never read then as soon I turned the first page I was hooked. I thank you Richard and Mindy. This book shows that the Hammond family is one of those special families that love each other and are always there whenever anyone is in need.

A sad but inspiring story of bravery and a family who care for each other dearly. Each paragraph creates a new emotion and allows you to understand just how much Richard Hammond and his family went through after his horrific accident.- Read Guest's review (41 words)

I liked hearing about Richard Hammond's life before the jet car crash in 2006.
I was also interested in what his wife went through while he was in hospital.
I have enjoyed reading this book even though it was a bit emotional in places- Read Guest's review (44 words)

The book itself is gripping to the end. Once you have immersed yourself in the book you will be eager to find out more about the Hamster and how he overcame the battle to finally reappear on our screens after that fateful crash. The book goes into great detail about the crash, Richard's recovery and how his family coped throughout the whole ordeal. Truly amazing read.- Read lis08's review (131 words)
