    Bought this Krups FLF294 kettle one week ago and have already had problems with on/off switch which should really be just called the off switch!! Will be returning it as soon as I can!

    Awkward lid
    Switch responsible for numerous faults - replaced kettle 4 times in 12 months before giving up on the Krups FLF294!

    Very disappointed that my Krups FLF294 malfunctioned by not boiling up after only 30 days. refill is not easy because the release mechanism on the lid is difficult. awkward lid.

    Used for the first time today and I am very pleased. You can add water straight through the spout or you can remove the lid and add in that way. I feel that the first thing to go on this will be the trigger - time will tell whether it lasts me for years or not.

    The Krups FLF294 was not a good buy: Lid difficult to open and close.
    Filter in the spout keeps on falling out when empying the kettle.
    Inside rim prevents limescale from leaving the kettle.
