    Good Points: Nice looking


    Bad Points: Bought it in March, on second kettle by October due to the following.The handle has bent over to one side, vapour comes out around the lid leaving a crust of limescale, steam comes out around the lid knob and burnt me. It is almost impossible to swill limescale out of it. The filter disintegrated very quickly.


    General comments: I would not buy this Morphy Richards 43691 again or recommend it. It has put me off designer type kettles. I will go back to a jug design from now on. When I rang and complained, I was given another one within 2 days. Thats very nice of them but I would prefer another design. It also makes strange noises when it is sitting on the base plate. It sounds as if it is trying to heat up. I stopped leaving it on its stand as the noise is disconcerting and must be using electricity.
