Good Points: It's well made, surprisingly quiet while operating.Easy to use and a clearly laid out instruction manual.
Bad Points: Cooking times quoted in manual are too long by 20 to 30mins so it's a bit hit or miss sometimes. The top of the bread doesn't brown although the sides and bottom do.Bottom and sides of loaf are always too thick and crusty on the med and dark settings, despite following the instructions to the letter and following the trouble shooter guide.Tried it on the light setting which was the exact opposite: Pale and uninteresting.
General comments: I originally purchased the Palson PAL30620 as I wanted to bake gluten free bread. Living in Lanzarote I had 2 makes to choose from. Neither of them had any reviews that I could find, so it was hit or miss. i picked the one with easy to follow instructions partly due to never having owned a bread maker before. i can't fault it with the mixing and kneading , in fact i tend to use it just for that when baking ordinary wheat bread and bake it in the oven, which defeats the purpose of buying the machine in the first place. i use this machine now solely for baking my gluten free , the fact that it turns out white or very crusty, i can put up with as it is only for me. but i'm disappointed that i cannot bake a good normal loaf , a nuisance when your pushed for time.At 96 euro's it aint cheap either.
